I am thinking he will score, wouldnt mind a 4-1 lol, any win is good enough though as we seem to not take the chance to beat the like's of these teams at home many expect us to beat, though we are Fulham's bogey team at Goodison

Every game is a tough game isn't it mate and I think Fulham play some decent stuff. But if we are right at it (which seems to he the problem at home) then our extra quality will tell. Hopefully we don't get any knocks against Spurs and have a fully fit squad to choose from as well.

Why the hell is that a rule? It really shouldn't be, pointless.

out of interest I looked up why that’s even a rule and the reason is this (it’s from Wikipedia which in itself isn’t exactly solid like).

“Such a player is said to be cup-tied, i.e. tied to their original club for the duration of the cup tournament. ... The rule is intended to prevent teams which progress in the competition buying talented players from teams which have already been eliminated, in an attempt to increase their chances of winning.”

here’s me thinking there was some ridiculous reason they couldn't be played, glad that cleared it up and set the record straight

Agree. Ludicrous antiquated rule. If you can play both for and against the same team in a league season, then why is the cup different?

Maybe the same rule should be applied in the league. Would stop the bigger clubs plundering lesser sides from the same division during a season and would possibly lead to Premier League clubs buying form the lower leagues. On the other hand PL clubs might just buy overseas players instead.

I would like to see him get 60 minutes against Fulham either in place of DCL or Richarlison. I don't think he is the long term answer but could chip in with 3-6 vital goals. Keeping our players fresh is essential and he will hopefully allow this.
