I don't think Carlo will be asking King to play as a right back

He had one spectacular moment where he just wriggled away from 5 defenders and then proceeded to pass it to the back line because we were so wank going forward with basically no options. Classic Everton.

To be honest it hinges on our budget. We need to buy a backup keeper, right back, back up right back midfielder, right forward, backup left forward and backup striker. Given our list of spending priorities, he may be our best option.

No, he is not Maradonna, but he showed that he is fast, strong and can run with the ball. Something not many at Everton can. Chelsea's defense would probably have had to run more if they had met King, than DCL and Richarlison in such a match. King is a more complete player. No, that does not make him a better player, but that means he is not as one-dimensional as Richarlison and DCL.

The point being, the way Carlo sets up, he wants his wide men to track bavk, iwobi does this well (other than the goal obvs). I’m not sure if king will help out as much
