I tell you what. He is going to struggle to find a club in the summer that are going to give him half the money he wants. Would have been better staying at Bournemouth. I suspect he has not been training properly this season

Glucking hell lads!!! He's better than what we had. He offers more than what we had. He's not really been played in his favoured position yet. He was free.

Surprised he didn’t start today especially with him ineligible next week - can’t judge him until he’s at least started a couple of games.

King is a short-term solution, and he was the best alternative we found. His role is largely to be back up for DCL and Richarlison. He has so far had minimal playing time, and when he has been given playing time, it has been difficult to accomplish anything special.

Football is a team game, and this season Everton (for the most part) has not had a good collective attacking game. We are among the teams that have produced the least chances, and it is mostly the combination Digne and DCL that has been successful.

Should a single player come in to turn this around, it would have to be Messi ten years ago. Or Stracqualursi considering the football we sometimes play.

So honestly do not know what people expect. Had we been Brighton, a team that has a very good collective game, but who struggles to score goals, then a player could have made a significant difference. But we have outperformed on all parameters, and have throughout the season shown that offensively we do not have a good collective plan.

Would love him to be boss but I think he's still getting match fit at the minute.
