Imagine the scenes on here if:

Doesn't score this season until scores a worldie in the penultimate match. Its shown repeatedly on motd (as if it were a rs player with a tap-in).

Gets given a 3 year contract on mega money just to keep him around next season.

Knackers ACL last minute of the last game this season.

Everton.

That's how the window works - you have to wait to bring your loans in. But King wasn't an afterthought. Everton had been after him for some time, and we wouldn't have brought him in if we didn't also have a degree of interest in making the transfer permanent.

I agree he should start against Burnley.

I didn't say he was an afterthought. I just think the club was looking around and he was probably the best of what was available. My preference was someone who was more comfortable on the right. It seems his preference is centre then left then right. You can accept him playing 2nd fiddle to DCL and Richarlison for the central role and behind Richarlison and Bernard on the left. However on the right with James injured he should have been ahead of Iwobi. I know the RM is more of a RWB at times but if he had been that bit better suited to RF we could have had a genuine front 3. Hopefully he gets a chance Saturday.

I want DCL to have a rest, he is looking burnt out, but i think King needs a go too

Perhaps he needs a break but me I look back pre PL. When players had 42 games in the 1st division, and hoped for a League and FA Cup run without half a dozen subs being available. Oh and if any one was injured stayed on the field and played on the wing.

Are you watching Groucho?

I think he has looked lively and done well in the limited opportunities that he has had.
We have a problem on the right and he deserves to be given a chance to show he can fill that slot.
Im not against it, but i assume theres a reason hes not being picked. If he impressed Carlo in training or during games when he gets to play Id assume he would be picked over Iwobi. The latter isnt impressive very often, so i wouldnt think looking better than him would be that difficult if King were actually better than what some including me expected. I hope Im wrong, its fun having a Norwegian playing for Everton, Id just wish it was Haaland or Ødegaard insted.
