I would like to see him start any midweek games we have so that we can keep DCL and Richarlison as fresh as possible. I dont think he's going to be good enough but would be nice to know for certain. I would hate to give him a 2 year contract and him stink the place out or alternatively let him go and find out he would be have been ab excellent back up.

Needs to start every week now, remaining games are all about preparation for next season

....surely the remaining games are all about amassing as many points as possible. Can’t see any point in playing a 29 year old striker brought in as temporary cover.

We need to select our strongest team & there’s nothing I’ve seen from King that suggests he gets into a starting X1.

This is a massive misunderstanding of what our realistic aims are for this season
Next season prep is directly in the hands of the recruiting staff just now
The playing staff are still focused on getting us European Football.... THIS SEASON

I agree with this but we have 2 games midweek where it would be nice to keep things fresh so he would get a couple of starts for me. I also agree he doesn't match the profile needed.

We need to be more attacking to finish off the season which means no Iwobi

Pickford
Coleman Keane Godfrey Digne
Allan Davies
Rodriguez
King DCL Richarlison

Thats currently our best 11 for me when fit just hope he starts playing it and not chop and change every single week.

As always, this needs to be decided in training. Matches are not a public trial where we as fans get to decide whether somebody's any good or not, we just have to trust the manager and coaches to make the right decisions based on what they see.

....as we saw against City, there is no legs to transition from defence to attack & I’m not sure your line up addresses that. Indeed, Iwobi is probably in the category of player who could help (but agree he’s dreadfully inconsistent).

Doucoure is key from CM but we are missing conventional wingers who can get us up the pitch.

I'm guessing by lack of game time he is failing the test.
Yep. Personally I always thought his best chance of being useful was when he very first came in. DCL was injured and we had games coming thick and fast, so I thought he might get games and contribute. I said at the time, when he didn't start at West Brom I thought that might mean he never started a game for us, because once people were back and the games were one a week I just didn't see him getting a chance. Who knows, things might change, but unless we have more injuries I think his entire Everton career might last a couple of hundred minutes.

I suppose it depends on players fitness. He might get games due to others not being available. He's not what we need really so hopefully he doesn't get a contract.
