This is a massive misunderstanding of what our realistic aims are for this season
Next season prep is directly in the hands of the recruiting staff just now

And if we are talking next season, king should not be included in that, seriously, he’s toilet. I get that he’s cover, I can live with that, but he should be off to Fulham in the summer

I rather naively expected him to bag a few when he first signed.

I think he’s a good sub to bring on for pace and to stretch the play. Hopefully he gets one and goes on a little run. He’s got a lot at stake!

I agree. But that's why it was a good signing. He either proves himself worthy of a contract - doubtful based on current evidence. Or he leaves in the summer having provided cover upfront.

At present, we could have lived without the signing but if DCL or Richarlison get injured he could still play a part.

It seems a bit strange that King appears to sit behind both Iwobi and Bernard in the pecking order.

I'd have thought that the main reason for signing him was because the other backup players are so poor.

I imagine he’s seen as a backup for DCL or Richy rather than being used as a wide playmaker type. Mind you he couldn’t do any worse than Bernard or Iwobi lol.

I'd have thought the same, only he didn't play when Calvert-Lewin was injured.

I fully agree but it’s hard to do that when he hasn’t been given a run of starts, difficult to believe when Iwobi and Bernard have.

Thats currently our best 11 for me when fit just hope he starts playing it and not chop and change every single week.

I think this would be our quickest and most direct team, a decent RB and Doucoure in for Davies would make it a strong XI; although I am predicting King being decent solely based on the fact that he isn't Iwobi.
