He's played 117mins since signing in January... even as a cheap transfer it's not looking very cost efficient at the moment.
That depends if DCL gets injured.
Anyway I’ve seen a figure of 5m at the time and as low as 2m quoted for the fee more recently, which is ok for cover.

I have to say, didn’t want a stop gap signing on a long contract and I was relieved when his contract was only until the end of the season. That’s a definite change in approach by the club and signals to me that were being more careful.

Our forwards are playing crap and were actually injured for a bit too. Still didn’t start.
Yeah I don't buy into the our forwards are playing crap narrative.

They both had a bad game the other night, but hasn't Rico just come off the back of scoring 5 in 5 or something?

Dom is in a bit of a patch, but King isn't really the same type as Dom.

Basically, I still haven't seen an emergency.

DCL needs a rest, what harm can it be?

DCL has gone two games without scoring, one of those against City. In my opinion that doesn’t mean he deserves to be dropped for someone who prior to joining us went 12 games in the Championship without scoring.

We don’t know if he needs a rest. Maybe he does. In that case I’d go Richarlison up front at the minute, despite his horror show on Monday. After that yes, King is the option.

I’d have had no problem with him coming on against Palace, but I get the feeling that the reason he didn’t was because he stinks up the gaff in training and/or isn’t fit.

King has had the same impact by NOT playing that Tosun used to have when he DID play. He's widely reported to be on lower wages than Tosun and at least has pace, which Tosun lacks completely.

It's as if people would prefer we had kept Tosun and Bolasie as options, despite the fact that loaning them out and bringing King in has saved us considerable cash and given us with a substitute who can run.

Calvert-Lewin was injured when King arrived, and he still didn't play.
