Think all 3 could have offered something off the bench at times this season when we've opted to use the likes of Toshun/Iwobi who offer nothing.

Gordon hasn't even offered Preston anything off the bench.

And as for Bernard...

Thats the problem - even outfits like WHU could bench him for a Behrama or Yarmolenko our bench is atrocious.

If only we had signed someone to replace him.

The problem for me is we sign too many players who offer little in goals/assists

Moist has brought in/developed players at WHU with grit and pace.

Said it for ages we made the mistake of hiring a DOF who has spent years signing players suited to the Eredivise and you see it in players like Gomes, Delph, Iwobi, Bernard - slow tippy tappy weak as pish.

Soucek, Coufal, Bowen, Rice, Dawson proper Moist players who'll battle.

Hope it works out for him there.

We need to offload a lot of the tat Brands has loaded us with this summer

Bernard: £4-5 million
Iwobi: £12-15 million
Slowmes: £12-15 million
Delph- give him away
Kean: £40-45 million to PSG

Add in Kenny and Toshun hopefully punted and Bolasie/Walcott/Besic out of contract hopefully we can finally sort out the wage bill.

They are not much good you're putting words in my mouth - the question is are they any worse than Toshun/Iwobi/Gomes/Delph and the answer is no - yet those 4 above get on the pitch a hell of a lot more so the question is why? They dont score, they dont assist, they dont defend well or give the opposition something to think about.

Benard for example could easily play as the tip of a midfield 3 with Allan/Doucoure covering against the likes of Sheff Utd as he can pass a ball forward whereas we wont we'll lump in Gomes or Delph off the bench and I don't get that.

Same way I never got Iwobi/Gomes playing outwide on the left over Gordon / Nkounkou who actually have some pace and are direct.

I couldn't care if a player looks like Messi on the training ground if they then turn into a cowardly custard on match day they shouldn't be on the pitch its as simple as that.
