Transfer Rumour Joshua Zirkzee

That’s the problem with us trying to sign a ST at the moment; unless it’s Lewandowski, he’s likely to be behind Dom in the pecking order, therefore you’re looking for someone young and cocky enough they can displace him, rather than someone unambitious enough that they’re happy to warm the bench.

I imagine this lad is not quite either so he’s taking a gig where he’ll be guaranteed starts.
The other option is signing a player who can play out wide as well as up front. A bit like Richarlison.

play 2 strikers then. No rules that says we can’t, we’ve done so before and winning games. I’d rather we play 2 striker and drop Iceland

I think we have tried 442 with limited results, if we have Alan and Doucoure fit, we possibly can play it, but against most teams you get over ran in the middle because you have 2 players and they have 3.
Anyway, we will wait and see on Zirkzee, if he chooses Parma over us because they have promised he will go straight in the first team, I can't argue with that, the lad wants to play. I just hope we get someone in before the deadline, chasing the game last night and taking Dom off and bringing on Coleman was just sad.

It's the conundrum Spurs have had for years with Kane.
It's a bit of a myth that really. Spurs have had no problem getting in decent (or at least supposedly decent) players to come in in that position. Janssen failed but he was a high profile player when they got him, Llorente was obviously good, and now Vinicius has come to them after scoring a shedload in Portugal. The PL is a big draw, a lot of players would happily jump at trading being a first choice elsewhere for a squad player in the PL.

if he wanted first team football then Parma was the obvious choice. I also notice that the price Romano is quoting has risen from €10 to 15 million. I can imagine this price increase also effected our determination to land him. Brands is known to walk away when the price exceeds what we want.

Someone must have kneecapped him on the iwobi day then.

Dont buy it that a player wont come here as he has to fight for a place .
Anything happens to Dom whether he's injured ,suspended or even badly out of form or simply player rotation the lad gets games.

I think Bayern trying to play us and Brands isnt having it.
I dont.

if Fab Romano says Parma are leading and pushing then it's true. It is what it is, we cant gurantee starting every game, Parma can as they're desperate. Issue is what happens if Parma still go down, does their clause get cancelled. I'd hate it if we went back in for him after turning us down.

Lets see.

Not actually that arsed about this one tbh. Would prefer someone with a bit more experience to come in and challenge rather than another teenager.
This really. Need subs on the bench that change the game. Our bench last night lacked experience and quality.
We need another forward who can change the game when they come on.
