I just don't get why he'd want to play for Fenerbache over us
Even with CL football
Fenerbache are never going to win it and surely playing in the Turkish League would be a bit of a come down after playing in the Prem? (No offence intended to any Turks reading this of course, but one League is definately more high profile than the other)
It's not like he's going back home to Spain, or somewhere nearby like Portugal or France
I just do not get why he'd want to play for them when he's got a chance to play in the Premier League, probably while on a decent wedge to boot

Players only end up in Turkey when there is no other interest in them from a better league or no one willing to pay them the type of salary they are accustomed too
Schneider, Van Persie, Nani etc
when there's a choice which matches up financially with a offer from Turkey they choose the other option
But as this came from a Turkish paper, then it makes them sound bigger than they actually are and likely gets loads of clicks from eager Fenerbache fans
