jazzy

Player Valuation: £70m
Well we all need cheering up today so why not consider the depths that we have plumbed under Moshiri and rate his worst signings and managerial appointments.

Heres my top ten of his worst signings and top 5 of worst managerial appointments....................

Players

1. Maupay
2. Gbamin
3. Williams
4. Tosun
5. Sandro
6. Gomes
7. Mina
8. Bolasie
9. Schneiderlin
10. Iwobi

Dishonourable mentions to Doucoure, Godfrey, Keane, Delph, Martina and Klaasen.

Managers

1. Benitez
2. Lampard
3. Dyche
4. Koeman
5. Allardyce

My god when you consider those lists it's no wonder that we are in the position that we are. Good job I dodn't do the DoF appointments lol

Davy Klassen probably the worst signing in clubs history.

Was one of four number 10's signed that summer, nowhere near good enough for the league, like a crab in midfield, played 6 games and sold the following summer for half of what we paid for him.

Sums the past few years up really.
But at least we got some money back from his sale. Ok we got a nominal amount for Schneiderlin but apart from him there is no one else on that list that we have or will get a fee for.

Probably easier to name signings & managers that have been any good…

Players:
1) Richarlison
2) Digne

Managers:
1) Ancelotti
I agree. I'm not his biggest fan but you'd have to say that Pickford has been a decent signing. We will also make money on Branthwaite . We will get our money back on Onana but that's about it.

I think everyone else contributed in some way, except Sandro but he was only £5m. Gbamin I think is unlucky with injuries, same with Bolasie who I think would've done a good job had he not crocked it.

Klassen for £23m, playing 6 games and getting binned for £12m next summer is horrendous.

Bolasie was a joke of a signing for nearly 30m.

Very very limited footballer that absolutely no decent club had any interest in.

When you go through the list, it's a horror show. These are only reported figures but...

Bolaise - £30m, Schneiderlin - £23m, Williams - £14m, Sigurdsson - £45m, Keane - £25m, Klaassen - £23m, Walcott - £20m, Tosun - £20m,

Then you're onto Mina (included due to injuries), Godfrey, Gbamin, Gomes, Delph, Allan (to an extent) and Mykolenko. How many of those had an actual impact?

Recruitment and poor managerial appointments are undoubtedly the reason for the demise under Moshiri. That has directly led to the lack of financial control which given that Moshiri is an accountant is simply unforgiveable.
