Keane is deffo in the top 3 for worst signings.

Most of the others came in didn't work out went, this chump has somehow consistently played for about 5/6 years in which time we've been involved in a relegation scrap for most of them.

I know it is a distant memory but remember the optimism when our sugar daddy came in with all his Russian money
only to blow it on garbage like the lottery winner Michael Carroll

Benitez was a new low only a real fool who does not understand football would make that appointment it turned a toxic situation into a critical biohazard
Maupay was the worst signing absolute desperation to sign a limited player who warmed Brightons bench
and expect him to score goals in a team that has no plan

Michael Keane for the price and performance, shocking. Pretty much all our signings have been gash though. What I'd give for half a season James now, to get rid of our entire creative players in a couple of seasons is mental. Wonder if Gylfi can play again, not with us obviously but he's been cleared hasn't he?

…Benitez is the worst managerial appointment in the history of Everton Foitball Club, I have no doubt about that.

I’ll go for Denk Tosun as the worst signing of the Moshiri tenure because he was a Moshiri signing & is a stark realisation that the man knows nothing about football and is wasteful as a businessman.

Ignorant men buying ordinary footballers for extraordinary fees & putting them on lengthy extraordinary contracts was a business model doomed to failure.

Iwobi - I know he has improved of late and gives his all. But this typifies the Moshiri era. A player the manager didn't want, a player that couldn't get into his current team and a someone we massively overpaid for! His goal and assist return has been awful.

I actually think Tosun was an Allardyce signing Eggs. Allardyce had wanted him at Palace previously

Everton star Cenk Tosun has revealed a potential move to Crystal Palace last summer was ’90 per cent’ complete only for the deal to fall through at the last moments.

The Turkey international has been in great form for the Toffees of late and bagged another brace against Stoke City on Saturday – his fourth goal in three games.

But it all could have been so different for the 26-year-old had a potential move to Crystal Palace last summer not fallen through at the last minute.

“Over the summer, the transfer to Crystal Palace was 90 per cent,” Tosun told Milliyet.

“Sam [Allardyce] contacted me while he was in charge of Palace, he wanted me when he was their manager.

“He rekindled interest after taking over at Everton and told me he watched my matches and wanted to see me in his team.

“He told me he wanted me because he thought I would be useful to Everton.”

Stones, Lukaku, Lookman, Branthwaite, Richarlison and Digne. Swap for Keane, Maupay, Iwobi, Mina, Simms and Mykolenko. Our inability to keep, or give a longer chance to the better players we’ve had, has left us in a massive hole! We have a hell of a lot of players who have basically cost us millions, I cba to lost them all. We sell a good one and replace with several crap ones. No direction whatsoever!
