Did you keep the bit you lopped off Ranalph Fiennes style, and they'll stick that bit back on.

Mind you, i’m finally having an operation on my eye in a fortnight, not pleasant if you’re squeamish.

My older brother has regular injections into both eyes, don't know how he's so matter of fact about it.

Fight them all the way. thats the lazy route, youd just as easy save it by fusing it on something very hot.

Nah, there's no structure to the finger behind the nail, shaved the bone off and everything, so would only lead to complications further on trying to pretty it up.

Good on you that you got plastics to patch it up. It's them or ortho, on hands. From experience, you want the person from plastics.

What they did to me, but top two sections were mangled on mine.

Worst thing is when you bang the end of the stump when it's cold in the winter.

Oof, and I thought just breaking the tip of a finger and pulling the fingernail back hurt.

…it’s weird because you obviously can’t turn your head away or shut your eye lid, you just see the needle going in. Fortunately I’m not squeamish about such things, I can just relax but even for me it isn’t the most pleasant part of the procedure.
