….been in St Paul’s Eye Hospital all morning for cataract and insertion of a lens into my left eye following detached retina surgery 12 months ago.

Doesn’t bother me, but needles and a knife cutting into the eye ball makes some folk squeamish. Hopefully, in a month or so time my sight will be better than it has been since I was a kid & I can finally post some sense.
