Wonderful, well done Kaka, he would have wasted his career at City, but been very rich, clearly hes already rich, but he could have been greedy.

I BELONG TO KAKA......... again.

What a guy.

Nice stuff that from Kaka, makes you rejoice thats theres still and ounce of decency left in soccer.

Maybe they'll give us 30m for Lescott now.

SELL 'IM BILL.

You cheap [Poor language removed]! In the current climate Lescott must be worth 60 million, surely!

What I'm finding funny is the Citeh press statement saying they pulled out because the deal wasnt financially benificial to the club on and off the pitch - Yeah, like £100mill for one player was always going to be benificial financially, the clowns.

Kaka snubbed them. He never wanted to go. Bellamy is more their type of player.

Kaka turning city down is a big step for football. It shows that it's not all about money with some players, and Kaka has proved to be a loyal player to the club that has given him his big break.

Let's hope this is a common thing now, and city's billions prove to be worthless when they can't attract the players.

And as an added bonus, Robinho walking out is just hilarious.

Richest club in the Championship I reckon!

"I believe I have made the right choice.
"To have gone to Manchester City could have been a great project but in the past few days I have prayed a lot to understand what the right team would be and in the end I have decided to remain here.
"I don't want anything else, I just want to be well and be happy in the place where people love me.
"From this story I have understood how people love me at Milan, the fans and my team-mates have helped me make this choice.
"Milan has always turned down offers for me.
"I always said to everyone to first agree with Milan and then we can talk. But Milan had never accepted an offer for me.
"No member of my family has pushed me to go anywhere.
"I have not had any arguments with my father.
"My family has been very supportive and at no time have they forced me one way or the other.
"There were rumours that this story had come out because I wanted to renew my contract, this is not true.
"I have remained with the team where I am linked by heart.
"Saturday's game was no ordinary game for me.
"I was very emotional.
"Many children brought their drawings that they dedicated to me.
"When I left Sao Paulo to join Milan, a large part of the public criticised me.
"Now here all the fans are there chanting my name.
"Milan is my home, where I am close to and where my heart really is. That is what made me take this decision."

Goes to show that players can put their club before money - he'll be a AC Milan legend now.

Great player, great loyal person.

2206: Breaking news: The prime minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi, who is also the owner of AC Milan, has told Italian television that Kaka is staying at the club. Repeat, Kaka will not be joining Manchester City.

I think thats great news, not because I envy Man C but for the game in general. Just goes to show these billionaires that they cant have everything they want and in this case money didnt talk. Now lets hope they take the drop and have done with it. I'd be glad to see the back of them.

Great news for football. Im even happier about the fact that the Man City players told him not to go. Honestly...if Robinho is so upset there - could it put other players off joining city? Hopefully...

Nice to see him staying put but lets not go overboard with the whole loyalty thing. He's still earning over £100k a week at Milan, it's not like he's living in poverty due to his morals.

Seems a no brainer to me. When you're as wealthy as he must be, the extra money he'd earn at City isn't going to change his life to any great extent but he'd sacrifice the glory all players get into football for.

Thus the only players City will attract are those who aren't ever going to achieve the glory so are happy to collect as much cash as possible. ie Bellamy and his ilk.

That's true, but in the modern game money talks and he could've easily have gone. But it was the football, the club, and the fans, that kept him at Milan not the money. They pay him that much because he's one of the worlds best players, they look after him, and it makes him feel secure that he doesnt have to leave for money if he doesnt want to.

The Citeh spokes people are pissing me off though. They're saying Milan bottled out of the deal. I think they're just bitter than Kaka just wanted to stay no matter how much money they threw at him and they cant take it.
