Kaka NOT Joining City

That's true, but in the modern game money talks and he could've easily have gone. But it was the football, the club, and the fans, that kept him at Milan not the money. They pay him that much because he's one of the worlds best players, they look after him, and it makes him feel secure that he doesnt have to leave for money if he doesnt want to.

The Citeh spokes people are pissing me off though. They're saying Milan bottled out of the deal. I think they're just bitter than Kaka just wanted to stay no matter how much money they threw at him and they cant take it.

Yes i hope others team are taking note, City are just cowboys and are sulking big time, as i said all along it doesnt matter how much money they have, they will still only be able to attract gobshites like Robinho and Bellamey. You will not see City in CL place for many, many years to go.

Thats what you get Arabs, you could have bought Everton, we only need a few Mill£££££

Take that man city pricks!!

Hate this petro-dollars club. Hope they get relegated.

ANGRY Kaka has accused Manchester City of “not having a clue", as his Brazilian team-mate Robinho apologised to Mark Hughes for going AWOL.

After City accused Kaka’s father of being greedy and unprofessional following the breakdown of his proposed £91million world-record move from AC Milan, the player came out fighting yesterday.

He said of the talks on Monday night: “There was total confusion. Not one of them had a clear idea of what was going on. It took me less than 30 seconds to stay with Milan. I have taken a huge weight off my mind.”

His agent, Diogo Kotscho, slammed City executive chairman Garry Cook for the breakdown. He said: “We can see that he knows very little about how a football player’s head works. If Kaka was thinking only about money, then he would have chosen Manchester City. But there are more important things that money cannot buy.

“Now we are more convinced than ever that we made the right decision.”

If he had of moved to City it would have been the beginnig of the end for football in the sense that it would have all kicked off in Massive transfer fees and wage demands which every player would demand and no chairman could afford so every club would be taken over by trillionaires and the ones that weren't would end up in the conference where it would cost £45 for a ticket!!!!!!!!!!

i agree its good for football that he turned down the deal, but lets not forget that he's already the highest paid player in the world:

The 50 Highest Paid Footballers in the World - World Cup Blog - Euro 2008

personally i think if they went for a player like ibrahimovic, who's wages seem way behind his ability, they'd have much more success, ffs he's making the same amount as adriano!

sacrificing success to become the richest player in the world by a good margin is tempting, but trying to tempt the already highest wage earning player in the world to be even richer-er is just stupid

I'm quite surprised that Portsmouth can afford to pay Campbell that much,
and what is Darren Bent doing at 19th highest paid player in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think weve been linked with him this month, but i'd object if we had to pay him that much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually bought an AC Milan Kaka shirt (£7 on ebay!) about a week before the media went ape about this story. My cousin supports Man Citeh. Imagine the stick I'd get if he signed
