I think its the beginning of the end, whats the point of managers like Moyses unearthing jewels like Cahill,Lescott ,Arteta ect when if city decide they want him he will go whoever he is no player is going to turn down wages like that and lets be honest if some one comes in with a stupid amount of cash for any of are lads Bill will snatch their hand off and as much as I criticize him on this I would have to agree with him.personally I would love them to throw a wad at Stevie me or Torres :lol:I can see the protest march now.[/quote]

Cue shirt burning!

Well this looks nearly a done deal, which is a shame, Kaka doesnt want to go at all, hes not a player whos interested in money, besides hes made enough for himself and his family to last 10 lifetimes. City really think that by throwing money at him its going to make him happy, which is a shame really.

It makes me sad to see such a footballing talent treated in this way, hes not going to be happy at City, so he isnt going to give 100%, his heart wont be in it. They can buy as many superstars as they like, but team spirt will sadly be lacking, i can see the superstars being up for a game against Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, but i cant see them even bothering against Stoke in March with rain and wind blowing around.

How on earth can Kaka play football with a £100m price tag hanging round his neck, its going to destroy him, Money buys you short term success, what happens the next time they sign a player? A top drawer player and only offer him £100k a week, hes going to want the same money as Kaka and what about Robinho? Hes going to want a payrise, not to mention the rest of Citys awful squad.

It might be all smiles at first, but greed will destroy the club from the inside, they have gone for a quick fix and it wont work, even Chelsea started off slow, its what its all about, you cant throw in World Class players with a bunch of utter [Poor language removed], it wont work. I hope and pray they get relegated, because im sure Kaka will want a relagtion release clause in his contract, thats what i want, City to go down and you can bet that the other clubs within the Premiership want this also, everybody will want to beat them and will try extra hard to make it happen.

I have a dream.

It will be really interesting if city go about buying the entire brazilian national side.

and at the next world cup the samba girls are jiggling their bits to blue moon:lol:
they could sing "it's just like watchin city"

at last world cup i think....
camera shows a big hairy guy with a drum and 4 brazilian wenches shakin their stuff,
commentator says to big ron," you didnt tell me your wife was coming"
big ron," never mind that, i never knew she could play the drum"

You couldn't make it up could you.

Rich oil billionaire: "Kaka you fancy fighting a relegation battle in rainy manchester, or staying put in Serie A at one of the worlds biggest clubs, playing in europe every season and enjoying the italian climate?"

Kaka: "I'm happy where I am. I belong to Jesus etc."

Rich oil billionaire shows kaka pay cheque.

Kaka press release: "Man City is a massive club, I always wanted to play for them - as soon as I realised they were in for me, my mind was made up and I had to sign..."

- having said that I expect him to laugh it off. All the money in the world but you cant attract world class players to a side thats fighting relegation by waving money around - all you'll end up with is mercenaries.
Lol good post.

If this goes through its madness no player and dont care who he is is worth this sort of money.

Too me mark hughes seems a capable man to run a club,he's going after realistic players..then you have the loon in charge with to much money trying to buy all and sundry.

I think there'l be only one of them left come the summer and it wont be hughes.

Forgot who said it earlier in the thread but they nailed it when they said he'd never live up to the price tag.

Ever.

It's a done deal I think. It looked that way after his match last night when all the players congratulated him.

I don't think he wants to go either but Milan would be stupid to turn down the ammount of money.

Someone wrote on the BBC 606 the if we had that ammount of money to spend we'd probably win the league which is a fair point IMO

my cousin is a lifelong city season ticket holder (she got her dream job last year when she went to work for city- shes an accountant). she says its like living in disneyland

i like citys fans, as they seem to have a similiar outlook as us

i have no problem with kaka going, after all if somebody offered me what he is being offered to work for them, id be there in a shot

She told me that the talk around eastlands is that once the deal is done they will be offering the [Poor language removed] £90m for torres and gerrard. now that i would like
