That's a signing they should look at, he's a good player and he's got heart. He's up for a battle and he'll protect there back four.
Agreed though but i thought Kompany has done well, some good versatility with the two Kompany can play centre half and De Jong can play right full.
Bellamy has put in a transfer request to join Spurs you can imagine the conversation.
"F""k Kaka i want to play Wobbily head on the Wii"!
I think there planning on moving Kompany to centre back, his natural position. Nigel De Jong would take over from him alongside Steven Ireland.
I like Ireland, I think he's great in the hole but I'm not sure about him deeper, in central midfield. I'm not sure it suits him.
Is he back with Ireland yet?
Well see, t certianly gives them options, the midfeild seems a little top heavy with attacking talent if it all comes of Robhino, Kaka, Ireland, Elanio, Wright Phillips.
Irelands a good little player, a little inconsistent but he has time. Hes an absoulute nutter in the Roy Keane model though, i think that will be his downfall.
City fans tell me he's been there best player, superman they call him.
Will he ever play for the national team again?
£107m.
Now just think about that, £107 million pounds on one player. ONE player.
The world has gone [Poor language removed] mad.
When hes good hes amazing but has a tendencey to go missing in some games, when things arent going his way.
I think so, we're doing well in qualifying in a tough gorup, if we get anywhere near South Africa he will be back rightly or wrongly. Its not the first time hes turned his back on the national team, but apart from that hes done some crazy things in the past, seems to have a massive ego form what i hear. His form has improved drasticly since he took a sourjoen from the Irish team so credit where its due. He reminds me a lot of a young Ray Houghton.
I think he will be the master of his own downfall, he has a touch of the Keanos and Paul McGraths about him, hes a bit of an unstable charicter. Like so many of the good Irish players.
Good little player though on his game.
Wasn't he getting bullied at one point? Some of the Irish boys where picking on him supposedly because of his hair implants. Just something I remember reading last season.
FFS if you get hair implants you expect to be bullied.
He was never a fan of away trips to Andorra in fairness and would often pick up a sneaky groin strain. About this time last year he told the management his grandmother died, who subsequently told a press conference that he was released form the squad to attend the funeral.
She was pictured the next day in the press, going to the shop for a bottle of milk. The press had a feild day, and both the player and management got a pasting. In fairness to him his girlfriend suffered a miscarriage at the time, but he got slated for telling porkies by the press and management, i beleive his gran wasnt to impressed either. He walked out on the under 21's also after a row with the management and hasnt been very complimentory in some quotes about playing for his country.
Anyhow hes refused to play since.
I think its the beginning of the end, whats the point of managers like Moyses unearthing jewels like Cahill,Lescott ,Arteta ect when if city decide they want him he will go whoever he is no player is going to turn down wages like that and lets be honest if some one comes in with a stupid amount of cash for any of are lads Bill will snatch their hand off and as much as I criticize him on this I would have to agree with him.personally I would love them to throw a wad at Stevie me or TorresI can see the protest march now.
They could come out of this window spending close to about 200 mill in Jan FFS.
There rightly F""ing things up for the rest of us!
