It looks like AC have accepted an offer of ...........

Wait for it......

£107 million...:lol::lol::lol:

FFS thats just [Poor language removed] stupid. Looks like he's going to city!!!

Galacticos signings worked well at REAL.

City have problems beyond a signing or two, hell, they could go and buy a brand new eleven - problem with that? its brand new. players need time ti bed in. managers need time to get a feel for the job, the club, the fans, and the players he inherits plus the players he signs. and there is no guarantee each new signing will be a perfect fit.

Idiots can make all the demands they want, there is no substitute for patience.

I'm clearly in the minority who a ) doesnt care, b ) is more glad than pissed off. I mean, it could mean the end of that annoying "big four" expression.

Really, they are only doing what the likes of Liverpool have done, ie, spend s**t loads. The only real difference being, City are doing it in a shorter time scale. Risky game really, they should have started off by going for your Lucho Gonzalez, Moutinhos etc.

Good for them really. I am glad its a team whos fans have had to endure years of headache, Everton style.

Followed by years of an annoying "big five" expression. Obscene amount branded about for Kaka that will be damaging to the game long term! This deal goes through and a steady decline will begin.

Fully agree with your sentiments....(y)

Good luck to them...:)

Im kinda like that as well, i always thought City were a good sort.

The annoying worring thing now though is not what they may do on the pitch but the fact that every players valuation go up by 5mill. Just as a bit of reality was creeping into the market.

When you throw about a reported 110 million it drives up prices, as its lashing a 110 million into the game from no where. The question youl have to ask yourself is what will happen to it, Milan will bid for a player for 30 mill etc etc = Player valuation inflation.

It spells unrest, and possibly a huge squad. And that has happened before, rest his soul was it our Alan Ball that was manager there who had 57 players in the squad?

They really will ruin football in a day. By signing Kaka - the price of higher profile players will go up astronomically. Not only that, but as Kakas wages are so high, other players will demand higher wages. Especially if he doesnt perform too well "im as useful as him -pay me 500k a week" etc...

They may aswell just rename Man City to "The Dream Team"

What pisses me off even more is that they've got that useless [Poor language removed] Hughes as the manager. I wouldnt mind as much if they actually had a manager with some class buying the players - someone like Mourinho etc...(or Moyes )

Potentially, Robinho will probably want the same as Kaka if he does join City.

He'd be [Poor language removed] stupid not to ask.

If he does sign and I was Daniel Sturridge, Joe Hart, Ireland, Richards, Dunne etc I'd be shitting it for the future because every single one of those players aint going to be good enought to play for the team. Good in the short term of asking for more money if everyone else is getting upwards of 60k but bad in the long term of developing acadamy players or bench warming future talant.

But I would piss myself if he says no because that will show that there is still some heart left in football and would become a legend of the game IMO - the man who turned down a £100million transfer.

But if he doesnt go, some daft cuunt will.

I dont blame Kaka if he did sign for City, i blame those insane enough who offer such ridiculous amounts to lure him away. I would join anyone but the RS if i was offered £500,000 a week and would'nt feel guilty doing so,

The funny thing is.....someone mentioned something similar on a forum -

Instead of spending 100million on 1 player why dont they just buy Drogba, Moutinho, Loric Cana, Alex or a couple of rock hard defenders all for under that amount of money, have a strong team to compete with the top clubs....THEN buy some superstars for LESS that 100million because they've established themselves and be attractive to them rather than spending 400million or so in one summer (which they could do) and then spend 2 seasons making it work?

Nah, I would never play for them, never, not even for £1m a week.

It's matter of principle for me mate, as I'm sure there's many others who wouldn't even been seen dead in a RS shirt, never mind being paid...(n)

Its very sad that they spend our entire transfer budget for the Transfer window in about 1 or 2 weeks, on kakas wages.
