Kaka to City

It would be hilarious if City collapsed and were relegated.

Not sure which I would go for, though, in the following three:

Newcastle
City
Tottenham.

Probably Spurs :)

You couldn't make it up could you.

Rich oil billionaire: "Kaka you fancy fighting a relegation battle in rainy manchester, or staying put in Serie A at one of the worlds biggest clubs, playing in europe every season and enjoying the italian climate?"

Kaka: "I'm happy where I am. I belong to Jesus etc."

Rich oil billionaire shows kaka pay cheque.

Kaka press release: "Man City is a massive club, I always wanted to play for them - as soon as I realised they were in for me, my mind was made up and I had to sign..."

- having said that I expect him to laugh it off. All the money in the world but you cant attract world class players to a side thats fighting relegation by waving money around - all you'll end up with is mercenaries.

I thought all footballers were mercenaries. Money might buy the best players in the world but that doesnt mean they can play as a team together. Its all a [Poor language removed] joke. This even makes Chelsea look poor. Fuxake weres it all gonna end. I suppose the price of oil will go up now to pay for it. I hope Man C buy all the players theyre linked with and go down. See how many would wanna play for them then.

Theres no chance Kaka will go to City! FACT

But its nice to know there dicking around wasting thier time. Leaves more untapped talent for the rest of us!

Manchester City assistant manager Mark Bowen says Brazilian superstar Kaka is "very close" to a world record-breaking transfer from Italian giants AC Milan.

A City delegation has been in Italy and reportedly made a bid in the region of £100m for the midfielder.

The 26-year-old had earlier vowed to stay at the San Siro but Bowen told BBC Sport Wales: "We believe the deal is very close.

"We are selling the future plans of the club to the player."

Kaka's advisor Diogo Kotscho said the 2007 Fifa World Player of the Year would be open to a move to Manchester City if Milan wanted to sell.

And Mark Hughes' right-hand-man Bowen revealed: "I've read a lot about his love of AC Milan - and that goes without saying - but even when people said the deal was dead, that was not our understanding.

"We are still hopeful of still signing Kaka.

"The situation has been a surprise to everyone but obviously negotiations have been going on for a fair while.

"How close we are I don't know but our understanding is that it is very much a strong possibility that Kaka will be coming to Manchester City."

The end of Football, RIP 2009

Sky Sports news are now saying the deal is off but City are parading a New "Italian based" Striker within the next 48 hours but he is not in the Kaka bracket, who is??

I used to have a lot of respect for SSN, but now sadly they are just like all the rest, totally clueless and so far out of touch its unreal.

Lets see what happens.

Its getting [Poor language removed] stupid. In fact...[Poor language removed] em, I hope they get him and Buffon for 50million, and Aguero for 70million or who ever and they win the league, the fa cup, champions league - the job lot...

Because if that all happens everyone in football and even the old-school Citeh fans who've been going to the game for over 50+ years etc will know that all that they succeed in will be superficial, artificial success - hallow, shallow, passionless, bought because they've got more money than anyone else not that they earned it or worked for it or deserve it.

I'd love to go to a Citeh fan who'd be all "Yey we're the best team in the league, we've won the league! Yey!" and say "Yeah, but you did spend £300million. You bought it you didnt win it."

Let them buy him.

will cost a lot more that 300 million to turn city around. chelsea went through 1 billion and that was with a squad that had already qualified for the champions league.

IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO WORK THAT ONE OUT FFS, thought it was another city target, fux ache wouldve been better i feel.
what happened to littlecurlyalanball, you needed and enigma machine to work out what he was trying to say.

What Sparky says -
"The money involved is something we feel, from a football and business point of view, works," said Hughes.
So far they've spent around £60million+ (£32mill for Robinho, £10-12mill on Bridge, £20mill on Jo) and are languishing at the bottom of the league.

If rumours are true they've bidded £12mill for both Bellamy and Santa Cruz. If they get them thats an extra £22million. If they get Kaka that's an added £100million.

So total it up Citeh could so far spend on transfers = £182million in one season.

To pay that back they have to win the league and the Champions League. To make any business sense of "profit" from that they have to do that next season and the season after ---

What I'm getting at is, how does it make business sense if the owner already owns 16billion (or whatever it is) and he's not going to see any return for almost a decade?
.
Get spending Citeh because you've got a lot of years to gain up to build a good squad in the space of 2 seasons.

Ok, so lets just break this down.

Wages
£500,000 a week. That's £26m a year. Presumably he's going to be on a 5 year contract too, so £130m for 5 years worth of Kaka???

Ok, let's look at this further.

Training: 5 hours a day for 5 days
Match: 3 hours a week, on average.

So Kaka will be putting in 28 hours a week for £500,000

So Kaka's hourly rate is £17,857.

What can Kaka buy every hour?

(2005/)*Mercedes-Benz*E-Class*Saloon*unknown*-*£17,000 car for Sale, Suffolk, on DesperateSeller.co.uk

Its ruining football, and I can't wait for all these money men to [Poor language removed] and start their own league.

Actually if you compare that to the 100M+ US that Mayweather and DeLaHoya took in for their exhibition uh I mean fight, it doesn't look too bad.

Unfortunately City will get smart, hire Murinho next summer and he'll bring in the right players whether or not they get Kaka.

The only hopes of stopping City is getting them relegated this year and that will only slow them down for 1-4 years (provided that shieks keep their commitment to flusing money down the toliet).
