EVERTON TO OFFER €50M FOR KOULIBALY

Everton are set to increase their offer for Napoli centre-backKalidou Koulibaly to €50m, claims Sportitali.

The Senegal international, 25, is contracted to the Serie A club until the summer 2019.
 

So £42m. Would basically be an even swap for Stones assuming we still owe Barnsley, and City pay us £50m.

£20mil we were runoured ro be offering but napoli said he wasnt for sale to anyone.

Then he destroyed everyone last season.
 
This is ridiculous (if true), selling a CB for this money is genius, buying one on the other hand, is idiotic.

I don't care how hyped up he is, it's a defender ffs.
 

The problem we have is that every club knows we have money. They also know about the tv deal, and they also know we are pricing stones at around 50m

Stones to City £ 53 mil (less 7.5 to Barnsley)

Koulibaly to us € 50 apox £ 42 mil.

That is without making a dent in the supposed £100 mil transfer fund.

This is the level we will be working at in future , like it or not.
 
It's ridiculous. In the old days teams would consolidate and build on the previous season. Young players came through and occasionally a big signing would occur.

Now it's all change at Clapham Junction.
