KENWRIGHT OUT!!!

Kenwright is like the old autocrat who has handpicked his successor and retired to the shadows to manipulate the new man and maintain his influence. This time, I feel he has overreached and could well be purged. Roberto Martinez? Really? The man we sacked, who took us for 11million in compensation, and signed Aiden McGeady?

The very definition of insanity is repeating the same thing in the expectation of a different outcome. Bill has now proven his insanity. He needs to be quietly "disappeared" by the Moshiri regime Nazarbayev-style.

And the rest.

Only when we've got a DoF in place who won't be overuled and/or Moshiri sells up does calling for Kenwright to go become our priority.

I don’t see an realistic chance of Kenwright leaving, unfortunately.

Every day we don’t appoint Tim Cahill to an executive position is a day wasted IMO.

A new experienced CEO is a priority though. DBB just seems to be the most irrelevant CEO there is.

I would begrudgingly accept him in a honorary position but still being involved heavily in the day to day running of the football club after 20 odd years of failure and mediocrity is totally unforgivable

Here's the trouble as I see it.

  • Kenwright keeps pushing crap like Martinez (as a part timer - that part above all just has me stunned)
  • But Moshiri's judgment is even worse
  • Without Kenwright there would be only the likes of Joorabchian, Raiola, and various other agents, pseudo-agents, fixers, and hangers-on whispering in Moshiri's ear

So here it is.

If the Club were a person, Kenwright would be a rash, a fungus, spread over the skin, scabrous, suppurating, oozing pus.

Moshiri would be a knife sticking out of the chest, a sucking sound and blood gushing out of the wound.

DBB or any CEO can't win for losing here IMO. If DBB were making football decisions, we'd all be, properly, up in arms about how a CEO shouldn't be involved in football decisions.

It's not her fault if the football decisions are terrible. That's on the owner and his managers/DoFs (who he has kneecapped anyway). That Kenwright is such a liability is also down to Moshiri - a controlling shareholder running the team roperly would rein him in.

The stadium is on her watch - she met with us NYC Evertonians when she was in town meeting with Meis a couple of years ago -that makes her tenure a success no matter what else IMO. She upgraded the primary sponsorship - Internet car vendor > Internet bookmaker. There have been green shoots of better marketing in the Americas. All to the good. I fault her in a big way for the abysmal communication from the Club, that's within her bailiwick. But on the whole it's more good than bad with DBB.

If Moshiri had hired a DoF, given him the remit to hire a manager, a budget, and a general brief, and then stayed out of the way (and kept Kenwright etc sidelined), then the accountability would be clear. If Brands and Silva had been given the freedom to do their jobs, with the resources at their disposal (and presumably not the money squandered on Iwobi and the like) I believe that we'd be comfortably top-half and legit contenders for Europe if not already there, and we wouldn't be talking about DBB.

Mate Kenwright wanted Gary Megson FFS
Walter Smith advised him to get Moyes. Kenwright had no intention of getting Moyes before hand.
I used to think Kenwright was a positive for the club but this was many years ago.

Just wish he would sod off to be fair. He’s a liar and a romancer who is an embarrassment to the club
Oh and also lined his pockets when Moshiri turned up
Put his house up for sale did he for Everton? Ok whatever!!!
There has never been any proof that he wanted Gary Megson, people are so gullible! Why would he want Gary Megson? Did very little for us as a player did nothing as a manager. It makes no sense.

Either way there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking council from people who know what they are talking about (like Smith). That is not a weakness.

He can sod off if he wants Martinez like.

With good old uncle Mosh gone, Bill will need to start looking for spare cash down the back of his sofa again.

We’ve gone full circle.
