I'm a Southern Toffee so don't get to Goodison much but was at Goodiosn when Rooney scored his first goal at 16.

Such sad news. He was always cheerful, honest, superb with fans in the stadiums and in the street - and he fought our corner every time he was on tv and in the media. He took to the club, the environment and supporters in a rare way and we undoubtedly loved him for it. Rest easy KC. Universally lauded online - easy to see why.
