I am quite lucky as my partner as known kev for years. This isn’t me boasting far from it but I want too explain the great man for what he is.
Everything from the postive early tweets to the caring man he was and am sure his legacy will be passed on to his boys.
My wife as a teenager would go to belfield in the summer as her mate at the time had relatives who live near the old training ground ,and her mates dad lived in Anfield so they would go out goodison on a match day and stop and talk to the players parking at goodison, Super Kev asked if my wife and her mate at the time would be going to the game ,they said no as they couldn’t afford it. Kevs cousin took the details and they didn’t pay for a home game for a good while. Kev kept in touch and also messaged to check on my wife and how she was through life , aswell as myself and our baby girl. When Kev did nights we would try and go, after all who wouldn’t want to meet a fella who kept us up and slotted the winner against them at the pit. When I lost my nan back in 2015 the great man sent an email to feed positivity to our family and for that alone I was grateful as in our home he was loved for what he did back in 99 and in keeping us up.
His passing as put sadness in our home but it was pleasure to meet the man and as the old saying goes. God takes the best young
The world lost a great man and a man us toffees we owe a lot too.
Who put the ball in the redshites net… Super Kevin Campbell.
Sleep easy and thank you for being a great human.
