Ok so lets try and remain impartial and weigh up the options

Arsenal

Pros :

Champions League Football
London is more attractive that Merseyside for his family

Cons :

Less wages probably as they have a strict wage cap
Will probably warm the bench due to the wealth of talent in their midfield

Everton

Pros :

Will be a starter every week
Wages may well be higher
Felli is his best mate and they can have Grease 2 nights

Cons :

At the moment we are a less attractive club in terms of status and what we can offer
London vs. Walton?

I honestly think it could go either way at this point, I think we can all rest safe in the knowledge that Moyes has done everything he possibly can to push it our way.

I would pish myself, if when Kevin signs him and Felli turn up dressed as T-Birds to the press conference.

Jump up on the trestle table and sing " grease lightning "

Best press conference, ever!

Not personally too concerned about those Mail quotes. Some of that could be out of context, he was on SSN last night and effectively said Everton are his 1st choice

http://yfrog.com/j6ohgzmfwgpufqaclgtcqjbez (apologies for posting that again, but worth watching if you missed it)

That's good enough for me. If Arsenal make a better offer, we'd have to respect it because they can offer CL football and we can't, whilst their wage ceiling is higher than ours too and London is obviously preferable to Walton.

All we really have going for us is that we can offer him 1st team football.

FFS Moyes can not win can he, If he went to Blackpool now and spunked 8-9m on Ince we would be fuming and a bit meh

He out there now trying to sign a player that could total change the team, Hes a great attacking threat and scores goals, If Arsenal get him so be it but atleast we are in there trying to get the lad

im sorry, ive watched his ssn interview, he says he wants to play every week and everton is best for him. sod what the mail is quoting, cant believe he's now being called a snide! let him sign first before you turn on him

Sheeds, cmon lad...David Moyes has put a lot of effort in to get the player and then he says it,s a race to see who gets me in the next two weeks and maybe MF can convince me, then legs it back to home..

Nahhh not having it..the lad is showing no respect to our club and moyes. If he thinks he can get a contract from wenger then let him try we should move on ..the season starts monday.

He has no obligation to us and is perfectly free to consider all his options. There's no reason for him not to see if Arsenal want to talk to him and it is no comment on his character that he hasn't bitten our hand off. He's hardly pulling a Hazard on us. It's a big decision to make.

Mate, we are beeing used to flush out a better club deal elsewhere. The player has followed instuctions from his agent.

We should move on. The lad and his agent are snides.
Having heard him actually say we are front runners in the SSN video you are choosing to believe something that is written by a person (I would call them journalist but I couldn't be sure) in the Daily-F@#*ing-Mail.
I'm sorry mate but you really need to have some.....

I do realise I'm gonna look like a tw@t when he signs for Arsenal but I'm used to that by now.

Arsenal havent even made a bid yet

They might not want the player, He hardly set the world alight when he played in France did he

I think with them selling RVP they have bigger fish to fry

Let's remember as well that the lad that broke this on here well before any press or ITK's were on it, and deserves a lot of credit for that, remains confident and has posted that this is still a done deal.

Isn't it pretty obvious he wants to goto arsenal? But if they don't want him hell be happy to come here. Fair do's, theyre in cl after all. I think it would've happened by now though somim confident hell be here before the deadline.

Funny thing is its out in the open now, What stopping the RS,Newcastle or Spurs throwing a late bid in?

Arsenal making a move is surely distinctly unlikely atm. This fella is not a replacement for RVP. Surely that's what Arsenal's focus is on as we speak and over the next few days. At worst I think we'll box this off on the sly before Arsenal get desperate enough to move for him. They'll be after the really big names.

To be fair we need players before the deadline, all this talk of "just wait", not really good is it? we are short already and the season starts on monday.

Another good point (like I said I keep fluctuating between confidence and fear of collapse), I think Wenger will be expected to spend big now (presuming he gets all the RVP money to spend on new transfers) and I think they can afford to spend more money on a better player than this guy.
