thing is though why not keep it private for the players sake, Moyes must motivate all the players yet he never makes it public with your Neville's osmans, hibberts, Naismiths and that for me just highlights how he never wants to upset his yard dog favourites never thought I would say it but he's sounding like a Redcoat right now.

Rubbish. He has said Osman needs to improve before.

ABV and Brenda probably wouldn't say that now because Bale and Suarez are 2 of the best players in the world and in some of their best form since they signed for their respective clubs. We've had Kev for about 80% of the season and he's missed a lot of games in that time. I'm quite sure we're still yet to see the best from him and his 2 quality goals are signs of better things to come.

So quite simply Moyes is saying there's better things to come and is encouraging him to get at the top of his game.

So why not simply say this ???!!! rather than the mess he did say!???!!!

So now Mirrallas thinks he is bigger than the Club ???

This gets better.

So he scores 2 goals, says NOTHING, Moyes says what he says, and YOU think Mirrallas thinks he is bigger than the cub ???!!!WOW

I don't think he's bigger than the club. But if he reacted in the way you are suggesting, then that would imply that he did think he was bigger than the club. I'm quite sure he won't react like that though, besides I'm the one defending Moyes's comments so obviously I don't believe Mirallas him to be bigger than the club.

No it wouldn't. It would show that Moyes is a bell wiff, and doesnt deserve classy players.

He's been quite public with Osman as of late. Typically he's public with players who are playing well. As opposed to Neville and Naismith who haven't. So this kind of reinforces that it's encouragement, not Moyes ****ging him off.

Rubbish. He has said Osman needs to improve before.

this is the only article I can find with him asking more of osman

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...orm-everton-boss-david-moyes-100252-24575221/

and all it says is:

"I’ve said before that Ossie is part of the bricks here,” said Moyes. “But he knows he must work really hard and play well if we’re going to get the players I want in.

“But so will the rest of the squad. He is now at an important time in his career. We value him really highly and I want him to get back into good form. He is a key member for us.”

now compare that to Mirallas:

“I look at him and he’s signalling to me with 15 minutes to go - so maybe he’s not quite got what’s required at Everton or the Premier League."

you can see the differences in tones he loves his yard dogs mate its as simple as that. Moyes should be praising him in the media and having a word in private about needing to play through niggles that way it keeps the lad happy.
