Footy players are rich mate they can spunk money like drunken lottery winners whenever the mood takes them (although they are notoriously crap at paying their bills ) it's just the world of being a footy fan in 2013 mate . The fact that they are often crying little girls , serial shaggers , drunken drivers is despicable human beings is afraid something else we face .

Your last paragraph is the crucial bit all we can really worry about is how they perform.

It is becuase him waving to the touchline to come off after 65/70 mins has not gone down well with the medical staff and backroom staff.

I think they're have been a few quotes about 'mental' issues in relating to the injuries so that wouldn't surprise me but I think you have to give a bit more leeway to the real talents and the lad is a talent .

Managing phil Neville or hibbo is I'd say easy , they lack skill but mentally you'd think their attitude was spot on but someone like mirallas needs to be managed carefully & probably indulged a bit. We'll have to wait and see if this tactic pays off for moyes

That doesn't even work.

Moyes in not Kenwrights Boss. He would be sacked.

I realise sarcasm doesn't always work through typed word.

I was trying to say that Kenwright wouldn't have a dig at Moyes, if anything Moyes has been having sly digs at Kenwright and the board over recent years which Kenwright never responds too.

I'm not entirely certain you grasp my point hombre. Moyes has come out and questioned his mentality hoping for a certain response. My point is that it's quite likely Moyes has issues with his own based on certain crucial results over his time with us.

Now I wonder what his reaction would be if his boss questioned it?

If it'd be like the reaction he wants off Kev, Bill should get on it pronto and we can all book our trips the Bernabeu and Munich pronto!

But your talking about two totally different things and making out like there the same thing. With Kev and moyes it's a manger trying to give a player a kick up the backside so he'll stay on the pitch for the full 90. If kenwright came out and did what your saying it would totally undermine moyes as a manager and have no positive impact what so ever.

so you see there can be a downside to belittling someone publically, Moyes is making a judgement call using this tactic, I've got my doubts about it

And if he does 'push himself on' for those last 15 minutes of a game when he's felt something tightening and does his hammy or groin in, then how many will be slating moyes then for these comments in the press, or will it be a case of 'kev's made of glass' from everyone.
Fact is motivation is best used for people you need to perform better, Howard - most of the season, heitanga nearly every game this year, pinear and osman for good periods, Jelavic since chribmo, Neville for the last 3 years. Naismith since he's been here. All of these are way more in need of a public calling out on them, yet unless i've missed it nowt was said at least to this extent on any of these points.
Christ even felli going missing vs the grock teams like stoke deserved something compared to this. Maybe have a word with whoevers on the pitch when were lobbing the points away at the end like so often this year, and lots of times that had nothing to do with mirralles not finishing the full 90 as a fair few he wasnt playing at all.

and btw naismith is utter gash, lets stop trying to make excuses such as hes out of position, it doesnt excuse the fact he has no touch, no pace and no vision, baines isnt a forward, but if the ball comes to him in their box he doesn't take 30 seconds and ten touches to get it under control, lads a championship player at best, ship him off for the wages off the books

Yeah I can see there's a down side I never said other wise I just think moyes is right in what he's done. I think people have massively overreacted to what has acually been said tho.

I'm sorry but if a player can't play a full 90 minutes without injuring himself then that's extremely worrying, and not the fault of the manager.

His hamstring issue was months ago.
