I'm not

Mate, what has Naismith done other than getting a 3yrd tap-in in the derby??

And exactly how many chances has he been given in the correct position? And when has he played more than a couple of games consecutively? Moyes management of some players baffles me and it has destroyed this lads confidence. A stint in the team in his favoured position and we'd reap the rewards.

Showed glimpses of being dangerous at both ends today imo, some lovely through balls, great build up play and dangerous attacks, linked well with everyone at some point, even did some great stuff defending..
However he lost the ball a lot more than I have seen him before and in some dangerous areas. To be honest I don't care as it didn't cost us and he is ledge.. but not his best game today for me.

Mirallas didnt have his best game but he wasnt bad just miedocre . Pienaar was the same . Naismith should never replace kev he just doesnt have the quality but if anyone needs replacing its osman . Push naismith up to acm move felli into cm and osman to the bench

Mirallas was very good today .......in spells......I honestly don't care if he doesn't track back as its not his game. Why take his strength of attacking away by making him track back all the time. We should have enough players to cover. He is making a great effort to track back but it is not part of his make-up so it will take time, so no use criticising his defensive work when he is obviously a scorer and creator. The defensive attitude is probably why we take chunks of ability away from attack minded players. Not saying we shouldn't have any tracking back but it can't be done all the time with these type of players but its these type of players that excite us and win us games.

Yeah but at the same time, Baines on his own against 2 or 3 players is a problem.

Don't know what game you were watching to be honest.

He lost the game at least half a dozen times, didn't track back enough in the latter stages of the game leaving Coleman to get bummed. Think people are blinded by his attacking ability sometimes, was dodgy today.

Really needs to sort his fitness out as well.

This didnt happen once all game mate.

Agree with you though that people seem to be overlooking his defensive limitations, probably due to the fact he can do things like that trick on that Nedum O-Whatsit fella

re-watched the game today and those who said Kev was bad today are being harsh on him. He was generally dangerous going forward and should have had an assist on that nice dribble and pass move that anichebe put off the post. He has played better but he was still good.

The simple facts are that Naismith would give us just as much as Mirallas going forward if he was played in the correct position and would also offer a whole lot more defensively with his work rate and tracking back, which sadly Kev is missing.

You can't take away Mirallas's potential going forward, which Naismith hasn't got playing on the wing. I agree, I would like to see Naismith behind the striker but will only be used as cover unfortunately.

Naismith is ****e no matter where played people forget his highlight reels of ****e corners/****e passes (that hybrid cross/lob fail pass to jelavic being one) cant run and has no pace,

compare that too mirallas, quick, pace, tricks, tears defenders inside out, scores wonder goals

I think I know which one I would rather have in my side.

Nonsense.

****e is a bit harsh mate considering he hasn't once been played in his best position. If played behind the striker I reckon Naismith can be a decent little player for us and nick a few goals for us. Agree that Kev should always be in the side ahead of him though.
