Kevin Mirallas

It doesn't matter, that sort of nonsense would do more harm than good. McGeady will come back and rescue us.

Not sure we need a split in the dressing room given our predicament and an incident like this could easily create one. Might be time to cash in and look to bring in fresh blood.

Can't see any more than a game or two back on the bench, he's been a tit no doubt, but he's still an important and effective player and while things aren't going well we need all of those we can get on the pitch.

It's a stupid one off and there's no way Mirallas won't forget about that easily, like I've said its more the leadership of the group that concerns me now.

Those are the actions of a man who doesn't want to play for Everton any more.
he didn't seem to bothered about missing the pen.
sell him to Dortmund use the cash to find a good manager, maybe one with the ability to attack and defend, be flexible and have the balls to drop his mates when there not performing
Yes let him go to Dortmund and then get Klopp as manager!

What really worries me is Mirallas is one of our only players with cutting edge. If he went it would just mean we see more of McGeady.

Very , very worried.

He'll forget about it fine, I'm pretty sure his head is already at another club. It's a very stupid one off that is as close to peeing 2 points down a drain as we have gotten.

He's clearly on his way now. That's the last you'll ever see him in an Everton shirt.

The whole thing just seemed totally needless, and smacked of egotism.

Disappointed with him, disappointed that Baines didn't stand his ground and tell him to do one, disappointed that Jags didn't step in and show leadership, disappointed the manager allowed it, and disappointed that Martinez bottled it in his post match interview and clearly lied about the reason Mirallas was subbed. Injury my arse.

Nobody does a shitstorm like Everton.

Frustrating game. It looked as if Mirallas was trying to pad his goal total and it backfired. But I will admit, I was feeling confident that he would make it with no problems. It's unfortunate that it turned out so badly.

As much as I love the guy, he's likely on his way out at season's end though so it might just be best for the club to get with him and get a definitive answer. If he says that there's still a possibility of signing a new deal with us, fine. I'd be all right taking our chances in keeping a player of that calibre. But if he gives it to us straight and tells us he's leaving, we might as well profit off of it.

It was quiet clearly the wrong thing to do but if his bloods up and flowing it can take over and cloud his judgement, I'll be honest I never expected him to score and Baines obviously gives him the option to opt out a couple of times. But if he puts it in...

He'll feel the pressure from now on until we're in a less procerus postion, but unfortunaley we can't give up,on our better players at this moment.

Its true this, as much of a bell as he was tonight, and even if he is stalling on that contract we badly need him in the side.
When he took that pen he was doing it more for himself than for Everton, dont know what type of statement he was trying to make, its a hell of a mess we are in and things are just getting worse.
