i dont see how a footy player can't say to the agent, i want here, i will go here. been saying the same about duffy and his contract with us. he'll be definate 1st choice here if we got him, would have a lot of competition (although half are gash) at arsenal

The agent works for the player not the other way around . I appreciate the posts from mr Duffy but the agent works for his son and not him so maybe (not that I don't believe the poster at all by the way) the conversations between the son and agent are 'slightly different' . I don't mean that in anyway disrespectfully but it's like an estate agent making you sell your house or your solicitor making you plead guilty

All true mate. Those things are working in our favor. That is (and must be) our sales pitch. "Go to Arsenal and get a free seat to CL games, or come here and help us get there with you in the side".

Arsenal has already signed two replacements for RVP and is about to sell Song. If they go in at this point it will be for a defensive mid, not a winger.

Personally think they will go for Llorente because, for this apparent price of £6m they could have easily signed him without a sale of RVP. The three players they have signed already have been for more than £10m each.

Arsenal had the money for him, without selling RVP.
