@Eric Djemba-Djemba yes also £6mil but i meant since he signed for us?

@royalblue66 i think youre right, but wasnt it a swap deal worth a supposed £8mil so seemed to be just paper talk?

I only remember Wham £6mil being confirmed since he signed for us. I uaed to rate him at £15mil so was amazed at that low offer but it appears that theres literally no takers for him (or at least no one has tried to take him off us with a serious bid).

Could be many reasons for this of course but seems strange that with him mouthing off to the belgian press before (and having 12 months left on his contract a year ago) his agsnt wouldnt have explored other options before extending with us?

I like Mirallas but am not sure where he fits in anymore as it wont be on the right ahead of 2 martinez signings and it wont be on the left ahead of 2 martinez signings....

Scored a wonder goal at Spurs couple years back, like Kev but question his attitude at times, maybe it's not all his fault when seeing him been overlooked for players that are inferior, sort of player that can win a game with a flash of brilliance.

Kone ,Naismith, Cleverly and even uncle Osman have been consistantly chosen ahead of Mirallas on many occasions - even as subs -
maybe because they are much more consistant than Mirallas in every department except scoring goals and providing assists - all great at keeping possession the Everton way it seems -
Last year Mirallas was consistant enough to make the very strong Belgian side to the world cup - but no not good enough to make a bottom half Everton this season - rubbish man - the man is being neglected by Martinez at the cost of our club. Deulefeu has joined him as bench warmer now - very sad to see. They should be played or they should be sold because both deserve much better than being regarded as spare wheels

He deffo needs a run in the team to get the best out of him.
Lets hope his cameo on tuesday will get him that

If we have an increased transfer budget as a result of Moshiri buying the stake in the club, then as well as seeing players arrive that we would not have expected we may also see players leave that will surprise us....although I think talk of a big transfer budget is premature.

As I said to you on your other post about this Deulofeu is not being wasted, he's being smartly managed because his obvious lack of conditioning compared to the other players around his age, that and the fact that Aaron Lennon has been bang in form

Mirallas on the other hand is being mismanaged admittedly but as stated elsewhere has the tendency to drift off in most games he plays but will forever get a free pass by some when he does something like at Villa on Tuesday. He'll no doubt start tomorrow so I hope he plays the same way and pushes us to victory

Megatron - Del has only played 1163 min this season - but has delivered 9 assists
Barkley has played 2362 min (more than double) - but has 8 assists - only half as creative it seems
Lennon who has been keeping Del out has only 1 assist in 772 min -
Cleverly only 4 assists in 1139 min -
This youngster is our most creative player by a country mile - so why not use him more ? that is all i ask

Most creative yes but doesn't have the stamina that Barkley has, as shown in both his first spell and at Sevilla last season. Martinez is doing the right thing with him imo, if he'd had continued to start games and played through when leggy causing an injury, Martinez would be flogged for overworking him. He will be back in the starting 11 soon enough

We've had a rubbish season without him, give the lad a go. Stop preferring consistently underwhelming players over the guys who are capable of the bit of magic that makes a difference. Filling the team full of triers is all very well, there are lots of sucessful teams in league one doing just that. In the Premier League you need more, some mavericks who can change a game out of nothing, even if he can't do it every game.

We could have had an extra 5 - 10 goals through free kicks alone if Mirallas and Baines had been on the pitch this season.

...and that is why the nobhead cant be trusted.

Mirallas never had any of these issues before this season.

I think him and Martinez are both at fault. He's been mismanaged and he's been unprofessional too. Not everything is binary.
