Kevin Mirallas

I think it is telling when I debated whether or not to sub him 10 minutes after his yellow card. EVERYONE could see what was coming.

Still feel the same way about him as I did a few days ago - one moment want to sign his song (his tracking back on Antonio) and the next kick him in the arse although would probably make it a couple of kicks today ;)

It's frustrating, isn't it? We can see the ability he has but it hasn't happened this season and he's damaged us as much as the opposition.

A few years ago he was arguably the only spark in the team, but perhaps now we're in a better position to sell him. Lennon, Deulofeu, Barkley etc are putting in good performances leading to goals without getting sent off or causing a fuss.

Love how the abuse Mirallas gets for the red :) First yellow was'nt a yellow as ref decided he dived? 2nd was a late tackle admittedly but was was the bloody winger making the tackle? Barkley swans around does'nt have to tackle, mis passes a pass and his still the Messiah :) Lukaku's pass was'nt perfect so he had to lunge for it? So its Lukaku's fault?

the refs a [Poor language removed], west ham players especially noble influenced him and the coward red carded him :)
Mirallas is a good player who we're lucky to have even if he does stupid things at times like that tackle but we need players like him and not osman, cleverley and kone to win stuff :)
Errm, wingers need to make tackles mate, one of the reasons that Lennon has forced his way into the team

I said the whole thing isn't binary. I know it's easier for people like yourself to label someone "GOOD MAN" and "BAD MAN" in a situation, to save space in your brain for important things like being an internet-mosquito and trying to remember how to boil an egg, but I just think Martinez has managed it all poorly.

At the same time, I think Mirallas has been unprofessional and that was a step too far. It's called having a balanced opinion.

If Mirallas was playing we might see some dividends. He works well with Rom and finishes like a boss.

Martinez not playing someone must mean they're a trouble-makingTed.

Unless they're Naismith. Or Besic. Or anyone other than Mirallas.

The only player he's seemingly been brutal with is Mirallas, who has been reduced to a fringe player, when we're crying out for his spark and energy.

Mate, this is just a snippet, but your posting history reads like a Mirallas fangirl and I can see why you would want to cover your idol. But if you think allocating as much blame to Martinez for Mirallas getting two idiotic yellows in an important game is "balanced", then there's not much more we can discuss. NSNO

I am a big Mirallas fangirl. I love him <3 .

Yet even I think he's been a massive Ted. What more balance do you want?

And when I mentioned Martinez I meant for the wider situation, not for this incident. This was 100% Mirallas.
