I really think we've all got too carried away with Deulofeu, yes he's brilliant to watch but there's still something missing to his game. It's to be expected because he's young and inconsistent.

I think hes just a young player who needs to improve his defensive positioning and also dont think he works effectively with Coleman.

As an individual he's already a major threat and just needs to keep playing and keep developing. I think we actually over rely on him in games. On the everton news sticky theres a tactical piece showing what looks like 90% of wide passes to him and not to the left side where lennon should be.

Id love to see him keep developing and becoming a top star and hes looking pretty hot for Spain u21s so perhaps its just a matter of allowing him to develop and letting him off the leash with a more defensive minded full back behind him.

Think hes far better than lennon and mirallas but just needs to improve fitness and defensive positioning.
