Kevin Mirallas

Was poor when he came on today but then again we didn't have too much decent possession. Think it should have been Naisy on for Kone if anything, and Mirallas on for Geri/Kone after depending on how it was going at the time

Front four of barkley, rom, del and kone is nailed on at the moment, don't see him getting in the first xi anytime soon.

He is about the perfect person to have coming on at 60 min running at tired defences though. He ought to get at least that in any match where Kone and Del aren't both bossing it.

Disagree about Kone being a lock. In a match where we control possession, then he definitely will shine. In an even back and forth match then him being played out of position shows.

I'd give Kev a start opposite G in the next match. I wouldn't have him go the full 90, but I'd give him an opportunity to show what he has. Baines is Best with a winger to play off of and when Kone is on our attack is sooo lopsided.

When he took someone on in our own half and lost it instead of passing it out I thought "That's why Martinez is keeping you on the bench you prat." I long for the Mirallas of the first half of last season. I do think he wants to leave in January.

Miralles was not wanted by any Champions League Team and it appears that WHU were the only interested party.

I find him a bit of a mystery. He looks less than match fit and not as fast as he was once was but at the same time he is a natural goalscorer. One crucial thing for me is that, unlike Del Boy who puts feeding Lukaku first, Miralles is a maverick and an individual.

If we could get some decent money for him I would flog him and Naismith (to Norwich) and take the money and buy a proven upgrade. Meanwhile Cleverley and Knoe could play on the left.

I just dont see where he fits in now.

Deulofeu and Lennon on the left.
Kone and Cleverley on the right

McGeady/Naismith/Mirallas/Pienaar out because otherwise thats 8 players for 2 positions.

surely he must have a place ahead of Lennon.

And he needs to take a leaf out of Gerald's book and start looking up to see where his strikers are instead of shooting at every opportunity, no matter how disadvantageous the angle or distance.

Del is showing one doesn't lose one's individuality by becoming a more complete team player.

Why is everyone replying like this here?

Anyway, agreed with this really. Plus winger's hamstrings go weekly, so we need a few players there...

I was thinking perhaps if Yarmolenko had signed then we wouldnt have gone for Lennon. But then i dont think its realistic to have Yarms and Del on the right competing.

Having signed Lennon i assume its backup for Deulofeu.

It a bit weird though as we have so many wide players we need to shift a few on but are still linked to Yarms and a couple of others

Was much more consistent when he played on the right. Playing left isn't doing him any favours.

There its more about receiving the ball in tight spaces and linking play.

Before he could just concentrate on being direct on goal.

I thought he would have been gone in the last transfer window. I was shocked that we hung on to him, might just have been a money thing.
He looks like a player who thinks he is better than he actually is and one who feels he isn't going to get a chance at Everton. I believe that if he feels that if he moves on everything will be better.
I don't think we can get the best out of him, take the money and invest in someone else.
