Kevin Mirallas

Deulofeu's form will drop so I think we should be making the most of him while his form is hot.

I think we need to find a way to fit the two of them into the side.

Perhaps at the expense of Koné or even Ross at times.

How on earth are we gonna find a way to include 2 wingers in one team??

He could only replace Kone or Deulofeu, both of whom have been playing well. That's why Mirallas hasn't been playing.

People read into things a bit too much with Kev.

For me he dosen't get in ahead of either of them players, something he is going to have to deal with. Unfortunate for him with the Euros coming up and all that, but for Everton his best place is on the bench.

Those writing off Mirallas as done playing for Everton are ridiculous. If the club are serious about qualifying for and competing in Europe in the near future, we need a deep bench. We need a big squad with 2-3 players competing for every position. Mirallas is a mercurial player, always has been. This run of time off the pitch is only happening because (according to RM) he's been struggling with injury and we have two-three players in similar positions who are playing better. Eventually on or more of Kone, Lennon, Cleverly, Deulofeu and Naismith will be in the same position and Mirallas might be the one we're glowing about putting in brilliant performances. The vaults are filling up quick, and I for one can't wait to see him get a good run and see the usual voices flipping back to having been singing "Oh Kevin Mirallas!" the whole time. Here's hoping he can put together a bit of form and push both Kone and Deulofeu to continue upping their game or lose their spot.

Kev will leave in January, he needs to play to get to the Euros.

Let's not forget it's just 3 months since he signed a new contract. Bit early for him to give up on fighting for his place in the team. And even if he did, Everton are in a very strong bargaining position : we're under no pressure to sell, and he won't be going anywhere on the cheap.

Front four of barkley, rom, del and kone is nailed on at the moment, don't see him getting in the first xi anytime soon.

He is about the perfect person to have coming on at 60 min running at tired defences though. He ought to get at least that in any match where Kone and Del aren't both bossing it.

Personally I think mirallas on the bench has been a humbling experience that he needed. Far too quick to talk up a move away to a champions league. He has the same consistency issues we seen with fellaini and up till recently lukaku.

Martinez has won his power battle, time to get mirallas involved and interested as he is a match winner when he's on form.

From what I've seen of Kev recently he is like a coiled spring, itching to get into this side, 100% desire, and when he's in that mood is when you see the best of him.

Martinez needs to play him.
