Kevin Mirallas

Don't know about his body language but don't like his facial hair - looks a bit haggard with it, much sexier clean shaven.

He played a blinder against West Ham last year as a sub so hopefully even if he starts on the bench at the weekend he manages to do the same.
I'm pleased someone else has mentioned this as I pondered it harder than the actual footie in the last half an hour on Sunday.

My conclusion is that a beard is not for Mirallas at all. He needs to try and stop being trendy and just stick to his strengths which are skinning crap defenders, scoring one on ones and looking like he's had an eye transplant from an alien.

Making noises in the press again, I can't believe he won't be off in January and hope we get a reasonable fee.

If ift was anyone other than the Express there could be some substance.
"but could look to review his situation in January " says it all .
Needs to up his game for us first and foremost.Been crap so far this season.

you say that, but he hasn't been crap.

He played well against Watford and got injured and wasn't fit to play again until Barnsley. He played well in that game and scored a good goal.

He didn't get playing time away at Spurs but I can understand that, and then Chelsea - well we had to make a change early on and he didn't get on. He messed it up getting sent off at Swansea, cos' he would have played at Reading. He didn't have a good game against Norwich, but actually grew into it in the second half and got the assist for Osman's goal.

And against Sunderland, he came on and looked very good, and was really unlucky not to score.

To say he's been crap - with the limited game time he's had - is way off the mark.

He needs a goal to get his confidence going again.

Compared to the past 2 seasons he's been crap mate....he's nowhere near at that level.

But what I'm saying is he's had a playing time of a combined 375 minutes in league and cup (http://uk.soccerway.com/players/kevin-mirallas/2073/). To put that into perspective Del has had 550+ and Barkley well over a 1000.

He's not in good form, no - but up until his injury against Watford he had looked sharp and he had in pre-season as well. His recklessness against Swansea cost him and hasn't helped him get the game time needed to re-find that edge.

But even without playing to the best of his ability - he's scored and got an assist in two of the games he's played a full 90 minutes.

To say he's been crap - even in comparison to the last two seasons - is harsh imo, and is comparing apples to oranges in terms of game time as well.
