I do really like the lad + certainly dont wanna see him moving on cos he really can b a class act on his day, he's just gotta grow up + spit that dummy out + stop taking it all personnel, he lost his position or chance of nailing it down through that silly suspension + any other player out there understands u have 2 earn ur place back, show the manager he cant drop u once u get that chance. But not with him, he always looks like he's back on the playground at school getting picked last!
Agree 100%. He needs to be professional about it. Plenty of players have to sit on the bench and wait their turn. Talented player but bad attitude.

Roberto has shown he's the man by piping down every single one of you that thought Mirallas was the main man in our team. He's got the Belgian crybaby in a sharpshooter and not letting him near the ropes.
Roberto needs to show he can silence all you plotters that want him to fail by playing weird formations. He's bigger than this.

Doesn't seem like a Martinez type player at all. Not in his playing style not his attitude. I like him but if he's going to sulk whenever things don't go his way then just sell him. Getting a bit boring now.

He does not deserve a place in the starting XI as things stand.

I was surprised that he did not start last night and was surprised that he got so little time on the field.

One cannot help but start to feel that maybe he is not the type of player the manager really wants in his team.
I notice comments about his attitude but recently I thought his attitude lokked alright and you cannot
expect good players to be happy about not playing so he must granted some leeway. I am not sure where exactly I
saw it but recently I read an article which said that KM was still at Everton only because he would not get as good a deal
at any other club, may or may not be true but I would love to know the exact relationship between manager and player.

....goal scoring wingers are a rare and valuable commodity and Mirallas is certainly one of those. I don't know if something isn't right behind the scenes or if it's simply that RM doesn't think he fits the team model but he definitely has something to offer.

And yet osman starts before him, and gets full matches when he does.

Martinez is fuelling any attitude issues Mirallas might have imo. He chooses osman over him more frequently, but you always play your strongest XI - And osman isn't even in the strongest XXXIII. I don't see sides like spurs interested in osman. They're interested in Mirallas, so if he's good enough for them, why's he not good enough for even 1 start in 4 here?

Then again, Martinez thought McGeady was a bargain; and bought a spurs winger that wern't getting a start for them. Just doesn't make sense to me why Mirallas doesn't get more time.

Ossie and Mirallas ain't competing for the same position.....they play different roles.

And no one can complain with any justification about the team selection last night.

In the centre we have Cleverly, McCarthy, Barry, and Barkley all ahead of osman - who simply need not be selected unless there's a real crisis; but who gets shoehorned in to keep Mirallas out.

Who were our wingers last night?

That is beside the point.

Ossie and Mirallas are two completely different types of players and one will not be keeping the other out the team.

It is the manager's tactics which will do that.

And as the tactics worked perfectly well last night those tactics were justified.

Or maybe you think the manager was wrong in selecting a team which had the game sewn up by half time.

Because Osman needs game time. Same with Clev. Both give options to Barkley and McCarthey who doesn't have any competition. I won't be surprised Besic playing over Mirallas when he's fit also.

We've more fit wingers and attackers than central midfielders.

Were also slotting for fun with the side as it is. When were not, things will change.

Are you seriously unhappy about signing Lennon?
