And as the tactics worked perfectly well last night those tactics were justified.

We won despite osman being in the side - not because of him.

Are you seriously unhappy about signing Lennon?

No. The reason I mentioned Lennon is because he wasn't starting for tottenham (He barely does here) and yet Spurs wanted Mirallas; they don't want osman.

He's (osman) our (joint with mcgeady) least effective attacking midfielder, but he gets more pitch time than both Mirallas and Lennon. Being different positions ain't nowt to do with it . Better players are available, they should be getting minutes ahead of him. They need the minutes too. @kenada_blue

There is no reasoning with this type of logic.

And I think basically it is not so much an anti Ossie rant as a veiled criticism of the manager.

Things are going well at the moment in both league and cup so there is nowt else to beat Bobby with.

So let's ignore how comfortably we won last night and lament the fact a man who has served us well over the years and who never fails to let the world know how privileged he feels to represent EFC played instead of a bloke who often gives the impression we are a stepping stone for him to reach the heady heights of.....Spurs....:celebrate:

Yeah, alright. Being privileged to play for us is something that goes with the territory. Bragging about it - whilst not being worthy - isn't.

So I'm anti-Martinez? Looking for something to beat him with? o_O

No mate, far from it; although if he continues to play a sluggish weakling who's (at the very least) three seasons past his sell-by date, instead of a sprightlier, younger player who's better in just about every department than osman's ever been, then Martinez won't be getting a free pass - whether we win, lose or draw.

you ain't fooling no one, sir.

Not even your own self.

:p

Poor man management by Martinez imho. For all the great things RM does, this is a massive thorn in his side.

Why can he not play KM & GD. It's obvious for all to see.

Yes, it was balatantly obvious against Sunderland, Villa, Bournemouth and Boro.

Without Kev we pose very little threat in attack.

Sack the Catalan Clown for not seeing what is obvious to all

Duncan Ferguson was always first down the tunnel......Jus' sayin' like.

Yeah but we knew he was one of us, wore his heart on his sleeve, really don't get Kev and why so many blues think so highly of him. Still think a move is for the best all around, he needs a side where he can get in the starting 11, which isn't Everton, and i reckon we could use the money wise.
