Kevin Mirallas

That few? Wow.

He scores goals, he makes things happen and works hard for the team. I think if Martinez had put whatever agenda he had to one side and played Mirallas then we'd probably be sat with around 9 more points now, and he might have even managed to keep his job.
Ten starts in the prem. Two starts in the League Cup, one in the FA cup. For a return of six goals and three assists.

Arouna Kone had twenty starts for seven goals and three assists. And cost £1m more.

But it's wrong wrong wrong.

You've kept up your standards here, fair play. Consistent tosh.

Why is it wrong?

It'd be good if you had something to say occasionally rather than putting the boot into players you don't like and sneering at other posters :)

Are you saying he has not often shown the ball doesnt really stick up front with him? It's not dismissing him as a player overall, it's just what he has shown an awful lot. If you were a manager and had 3 attacking players, or 4 with Deulo, that often sloppily lose a lot of possession would you play them all or is it not fairly normal that one or two will miss out in most games?

In hindsight you'd say we have been so crap and weak in so many games over the last two seasons that it wouldn't have hurt to just put Kev, Deulo, Ross and Rom on all at once and see what happens.

He was excellent today by the way.

Kev is a little princess bitch in temperament but a fantastic footballer on his day. If the new manager puts an arm around him, tells him how pretty he is and sends him texts before bed to let him know how special he is then he could be our best player next season. When he's in the mood he is incredibly hard working, always a threat running at defenders and probably our second best finisher after Rom.

Because... oh wait hang on

There we go mate. See - wasn't that difficult after all was it?

before penaltgate he was carrying the team, to say he has done nothing the last 2 seasons simply isn't true, I'm onboard with your views on his relationship with martinez, i doubt he was alone

I never said he did nothing i said he barely ran and looked uninterested, before the penalty issue he scored 5 and had 1 assist but in 16 games only completed the 90 minutes 4 times, the season before from 1st January he completed 90 minutes 10 out of the 12 games he played and scored 6 in that time period with 8 assists that season.

Some point between the end of that season and the start of 14/15 something must have built up between him and martinez resulting in the penalty issue and being pulled off 12 of the 16 games up to that point, this is what i was pointing to in terms of looking uninterested over the past 2 seasons which he can't be blamed for as we agree on.

Still think he could have a big part to play here if the new manager gives him a fair chance and he's willing to work hard enough to repay that faith.

This season will have been the worst of his career undoubtely, not just because Martinez treated him slime but because whenever he did get a chance he seemed to be carrying so much pent up anger that he let it spill over and badly affect his performances.

Time to start afresh next year, for him and everyone else who stays. Show us what you can do Kev.

You've had a shocker here. I'd log out and cool down if I were you.

Because... oh wait hang on

Haven't you two got work to do in the Osman thread?

That opinion was in hindsight. As quite clearly stated.

So you don't think Mirallas is erratic in possession as are Barkley, Lukaku and Deulofeu? Yes or no?

If you can agree to that, don't you think many coaches will be loathe to put them all on the pitch at the same time? Yes or no?

Think a lot of us have forgot how good a player Kev can be on his day. Pretty obvious he didn't get on with Roberto I'd say. Haven't seen him work as hard as he worked today in months.

Likes Cleverley and Osman, hates four talented players.

Moderation team this clear evidence of Kopite behaviour from a poster with a consistent history

He's a game changer when in the mood - simple. Doesn't have to be a full-time starter but I wouldn't sell him no chance. Best finisher at the club IMO.

Absolutely lads. You are clearly good and right thinking Evertonians

I think he's a footballing God. Disappointing that you despise talented players and want them to fail.

Tiresome.

The usual zero interest in having an actual discussion. Two snidey and poor copies of Chico with none of the wit :)

I wouldn't mind the nonsense replies if they were funny, which they generally are not from you guys.

Love all those players and wouldn't miss Cleverley or Osman if gone tomorrow. Not putting the boot into them every day does not equal liking them.
