Kevin Mirallas

In his first season here he was everything I ever wanted from an Everton player. Skills AOTS, a defo hint of snide and wanted to do well. He was boss.

Then he kept picking up really crap injuries. And a hint of doubt entered my head.

But then he's go and score a 30 yard free kick against Villa and I'd forget he was a bit of a fanny.

This kept happening on what seemed a fortnightly basis.

Then the West Brom peno happened and that was it. He'd lost me forever.

But deep down I knew he did it because of his Belgian mate who had just passed away. My love was still there.

The manager hated on him. My love grew stronger.

Then he kept getting sent of for the most nobbish reasons. The doubt hit. But then you think he's just peed off and is over doing it.

I still love him. My heart will go on.

Was amused when Roberto moved him into the number ten position when Lennon came on v Sunderland.

It's like - 'we are 2-0 down and without a shadow of a doubt I am getting sacked in the morning. Shall I try two wingers? Nah not gonna risk it'.

It's like he's a tit, but he's our tit. He scores boss goals either from distance or by sprinting past three players and slotting like he's nea and he is always the most passionate player in a merseyside derby so he gets a pass most of the time he's a tit.

Near, far, wherever you are ?

Criminally mismanaged and under used this year.

That penalty incident should have had him either sold or disciplined and everyone move on. Seems like neither happened.

Still our best attacking threat when regularly playing.

A match winner who has been misused.

A player we could part ways but probably shouldn't because you could play him opposite Deulofeu and blow teams away.

Quite simply criminal that he was so under used this season. Like it was said earlier west Brom penalty incident should have been sorted out and everyone move on seems to me like Martinez never let him forget that and kept punishing him for it. Hopefully under new management all players will be given a fair crack of the whip (apart from mcgeady cos he really is gash).

Play him on the left or up front and he will score and assist regularly. His record here proves that. Even when he was in the doghouse with RM, he was still statistically a more regular goalscorer than everyone else in the squad except for Lukaku. He also links up well with Rom. IMHO it is very important to keep him. Only a Yarmolenko-type signing would make it viable to sell Super Kev.

Agree on the last line. Though I always think he's been better on the right, in terms of assists and adding more to the team anyway.

It's a shame he most-likely, barring an injury, won't get to the Euros, but from our p.o.v it means that we'll have a fully fit Kev raring to go and all the way though pre-season. Can only be a good thing.

One wonders what was the issue between Mirallas and Bobby as there seems to have been a mutual dislike between them . Mirallas looked like he had been jailed for life all season and started smiling after Bobby was gone .
Also it's criminal to think that over ythe season the likes of Cleverley , Naismith , Osman , Pienaar and Kone have been chose to play LM before Mirallas.

Don't think Martinez ever got over the penalty incident.
