It's like he's a tit, but he's our tit. He scores boss goals either from distance or by sprinting past three players and slotting like he's nea and he is always the most passionate player in a merseyside derby so he gets a pass most of the time he's a tit.

Exactly! It wasn't just because it was a merseyside derby and he wanted to hurt someone to look good either it was because it was that horrible snide who tried to crock distan last game as well.

I also think that he loves us as fans more than ever now as even when he's been kept out of the side by Martinez we would still always sing for him to come on.

Can we not pretend that he hasn't been poor this season. Was great yesterday and was nice to see him putting the effort in defensively too, but several times this season he's been extremely ineffective. Not to mention the two moronic red cards.

Was genuinely unfortunate not to play early in the season with a silly red, injuries and Kone's form.

That said, Kone dropped off pretty quickly and Mirallas should have came into the side much earlier.

It's a shame because he's got plenty of goals and assists in him as shown by his previous 3 seasons.

What was 'moronic' about them?

He got sent off at swansea because their 'thouse players cased the ref because one of ours (Galloway IIRC) got away with a far worse tackle just before - less than two minutes after he came on, and after making his very first tackle. Never a red card.

Got a booking against west ham for things that go unpunished - or even go the other way - at least 10 times per game.

Nothing 'moronic' about either. Just feeds the haters' notion of him being a 'bellend' is all. Gives them something to hate him for...All because he missed a penalty.

He should have been given more time by RM, and I think it was pretty clear their was a divide in opinion between them. However, he didn't always make the most of his opportunities.

He's a very good player, probably our best attacker at the club after Rom, but sometimes he can be so ineffective. When he's up for it he's class.

The way he was treated by Martinez always put him in a position where he always had a short time to make any impression on a game.Seemed to make him try too hard and panicked him into some rash decision making.When a regular starter he's a totally different player

Yeh I agree.

Since it looks unlikely he'll be off to the Euros, he can get a good month rest and then he'll be back in right from the start of pre-season. If he avoids injury then it'll only be a good thing.

We'll have

Kev, Del, Lennon, Barry, Besic, Niasse (lol), Baines (presuming he doesn't go), Funes-Mori all having very decent pre-season stints, plus the kids.

Being behind Kone in the pecking order should be grounds for termination of contract due to cruel and unusual punishment. Fair play to Kev for not exploring that option.

Really one of our better players. Criminal how little he has been used this season. One of only three players, who have the ability to score over ten goals a season.

I'd like to know - Bar Lukaku - who's our most serious attacking threat? 'Cos it isn't Barkley, or Lennon, or Deulofeu, as well as the other three mentioned.
