Quite possibly mate.

Chances are Kev's just had to go home for family reasons and he's staying here anyway. Mind you, a transfer window wouldn't be complete without a "Mirallas leaving" rumour, though this time, I suspect there's some truth in it.

Been called up for the Belgium squad as well, so family reasons, combined with him going in a couple of days there anyways, may have just been the club doing him a favour.

Think a bot mopre to it myself though, although every window he has been linked with either a move to turkey or greece

Thanks for the memories....

...when he signed the new deal I did post some concern that he might be the type to go into a comfort zone where the game doesn't really matter so much. I don't know if that's the case but Koeman has been described as ruthless, so he might not like what he's been seeing.

Be amazed if we buy to replace him either, it's obvious that RK sees Gylfi as a winger and obviously doesn't mind playing DCL out there. Lennon looks to be back in the fold as well.

A disappointing turn of events.

And Lookman and Lennon as the wing option. This is a crap move. I find it strange Kev was left on the bench for the last 2 games. Could there be an arugument between him and Koeman?

Same as the Barry case. We are letting two useful squad players go while we are struggling to get rid of the few obvious deadwoods in the squad. Am not happy with a loan just perm or stay. This is not beneifical to the squad we got about 2 games to play in a week this season.
Wouldn't be surprised. Had his usual look like thunder when he was substituted in the first leg against Split. Then not being used at all in either the return leg or City game when we were without regular starters in both games it does make you wonder.

Agree it would be crazy to let him go without bringing somebody else in, although Koeman has history of this with Deulofeu in January. Even worse if we are considering a loan.

Maybe we have got a replacement lined up (but Koeman has already said he is only looking at cover for striker and LCB), or perhaps Bolasie is closer to recovery than we thought.

A year left in his contract and if Koeman believes he is better than Kev as option on the bench. Oh well. Very disappointing.

Waste of a shirt, sell
We face the prospect of starting with either Lennon or Lookman today, with the loser representing our ONLY attacking player on the bench. And that's starting with 5 defenders on the pitch. Think on that a moment.

Unless we recall Niasse to the squad of course.:coffee:

He did and was fuming, throwing bandage on the pitch. He just loves Everton perhaps.

Flatters to deceive so many times
Was flyin like a modern day Jimmy Husband, then ratboy did him...downhill since then...did sort of get his own back a bit, but it was a bit of a girlie tackle, with the joint not against it, not a strict quid quo pro.

So has he gone or what, CBA'd scrolling through.
