I see his plan. Take us into the season with no striker, lose the first five games and right at the end of the transfer window BAM! Four new players in who drag us to a 17th-placed finish and Kevo gets all the credit.

Meanwhile back on planet earth, Everton have financial constraints and squad problems that won’t be sorted in one summer window.

As long as the big money transfers are for younger players with lots of potential, the other areas will have to be stop gap.

Just wondering how the Onana signing would fit into:

To be DOF at Everton you just filter excel for PL free agents

We don’t have a scouting network outside of the PL

We can’t afford to pay the Cornet release clause

We don’t follow a strategy of buying young European players

Kev can only work transfers from Wolves or Burnley

If the Onana deal goes through that will be the majority of the window’s money spent on two players under 23, with a third U23 on loan. That’s on the back of last window bringing in Mykolenko Patterson and Dele.

Not bad for a club who only buy old PL free agents.

About 5 of these points are the same thing.

Thelwell and Moshiri will prove a great combination.

Hopefully the haters quieten down now and stop with the protest nonsense and just get behind the club as its clear lessons have been learned.

Dont like Kenwright and the board are still idiots but right now the most important thing is whats happening on the pitch and the new ground.

COYB

Yeah but that is the fault of Moshiri, the way he has ran the club and turning over staff it's no suprise we are a mess without a functioning squad.

Moshiri isn't dealing with the transfers though, Kenwright is still heavily involved, your hero worship of Kenwright is sickening, owner or chairman for 20 odd years yet according to you none of it is his fault, deluded to the extreme. Stop defending the indefensible.
