As many have said...3 days left, and yet not a single player through the doors. Keep being linked to the same players we were earlier in the month, and some of those have already moved to the competition. Had the entire first half of the season to work on a list of potential recruits we need, yet nothing...this is not incompetence. I think we past that stage. This guy is stealing from the club. Should have been sacked before lampard as soon as it was clear no reinforcement were ready for Jan 1st. There are literally thousands and thousands of players in hundreds of leagues across the entire world.

A loan. Or a sale. It wasn’t impossible.
Neither of which you control much about. Loans to a club happen at the end of the window when there are no other options.

Sales depend on what other teams will offer. Would K d you have taken £20m for Gordon for example?

As far as I can see there have bend no material offers fire players until Newcastle bought Gordon.

We are struggling invite market because we are a disaster in every area.

Great job being DOF at Everton, get paid shedloads and doesn’t have to do anything because the board completely ignores you anyway

Take your time and make sure you get the right players in Kev. Don’t rush. Make sure you carefully vet each and every player and ensure that we don’t panic buy like other teams early in the window. There’s plenty of time, make sure you use it all.

Given there is no game to push through a transfer they may as well take every last bit of time now to get the best they can. We all know the last day of the window prices become a bit more reasonable as they look to get the funds to do their business.

Granted it could lead to getting egg on our faces if it fell apart but we'd complain they didn't get value for money or why weren't we in for x player who suddenly becomes available and we'd already spent the cash. So either way they are taking flak at this stage.

I think we should’ve signed someone by now mate.

Don't disagree, we should have got someone at the start of the window or at least before West Ham when it might have lifted the squad. I'm just saying now it doesn't really matter if it's today, tomorrow or Tuesday. The quality of the player and the price paid become the most important factors.
