Who said anything about deadwood players? There were good players available, hell we got beat to 1 of them by the team below us who’ve just sacked their manager, we had one who refused to sign his registration after going on Sky promising to sign because Tottenham stole in

Sulemana to Saints, Ouattara to Bournemouth, Wolves were in the bottom 3 and signed a few, last January Newcastle signed a few, we were a few points above it spiralling and signed Patterson and Mykolenko who you like, do I go back further seasons?

“Buying for the sake of it” but has 2 assists in 3 games so far on the right wing where we need someone.

I have proven good players go to teams in situations like ours, since there are 5 or 6 every year, and you don’t always have to overpay. Although in our situation overplaying for quality pays itself off with staying in the PL.
