You are here saying good players come to clubs in our situation that's why I'm asking mate. Look I do get what you are trying say but our issue is more when you can only offer a few million or so upfront for a fee then most clubs just laugh us off. We still have a massive wages to income % which is still far too high. Given the fact we are hovering on the brink of relegation we were never going to take any risks adding to the wage bill. Danjuma came here purely because of Lampard and when he was sacked the cheeky git bailed, and tbh I'm glad as he doesn't strike me as the type for a battle.
Thelwell/Lampard made some odd signings I know mate but now he is being given the chance to actually put together a proper recruitment dept. Something which we haven't had for a while and we are still looking to make more appointments into roles. This is what his job is, to get the best people in the correct roles.

Just pointing out how daft you just sounded, he has played ONE game for Dyche, he played it well, so thats a good sign and shows why Thelwell was right not too buy deadwood in January, our players are better then Frank had them playing
