Finally getting the credit he deserves. He's helping to build a really good young side ready for BMD.

Patterson, Branthwaite, Garner, Onana, Chermiti, Mykolenko, Mcneil and with the right experience around them (Tarkowski, Young, Gueye) and others in their mid to late 20s hitting their peak.

You nearly convinced me then, but every young player you mention has yet to prove himself at this level.

Is that the good, young side that finished a 94th minute Nick Pope save above relegation and scored the second fewest goals in the league??

He doesn't have the luxury of being able to sponk £600m like the other chumps we've had as DOF.
Give him a chance to show what he can do when we release some funds. Maybe not possible before the season starts so any deals he can do will be all on the cheap. Dyche himself said we've lost out on deals at the last moment - which must be down to funds. We have the FFP hearing in October so I can't see much being available or spent until after that.

That and the likelihood that we simply aren’t a particularly attractive option lately.
2 x relegation close shaves and the managerial stability of a drunken pirate in a hurricane….. I find myself wondering why any neutrals would want to play for Everton.

I'm struggling to forget he never got a single striker cover for the whole season(maupay wasnt that) and it would have been interesting to have seen the reaction if we hadnt stayed up in the last 45 minutes of the season. Didnt have to be a world class striker. Even a loan deal to lead the line as it def had a major reason why we struggled so much.
All of them got away with it by the skin of of their teeth.
