…it’s only truly productive if the players brought in improve us.
Yes for an effective transfer window. His role will be much wider in scope however. How effective he is in that, in the environment he has to work in, is another matter e.g. development of academy, scouting network etc. Jury is out on all of it I think, but on the face if it, he thus far has not been impressive.

If he can get Chermiti over the line + an attacking and a centre midfielder....plus a centre back (if we sell 2) with a focus on u23s then he'll have been productive.

Just need the sales to happen asap to open up opportunities.

Gray is the only player that’s had any actual concrete links to a move. Nobody is interested in our utter crappers, Gomes, Holgate, Maupay, Gbamin, Keane etc are not going anywhere.

Hate it when this thread appears at the top, always jump expecting to to read about new bits being done. 😔
Sadly it's just unrealistic expectations; because looking back a few posts, Brighton are obviously going to sell Ferguson to us and he's going to want to come.

Perspective is sadly lacking at times.

Club's get desperate by the last few days of the window.

We will too.
