We sell Richarlison, that was inevitable. So, who do we bring in?

A forward with a weak goal scoring record who couldn’t sustain a place in the Brighton first eleven. Makes no sense considering your main no.9 isn’t reliable with injuries.

Also, McNeil who offered very little in either goals or assists from a relegated side. To be fair his goal at Southampton was a cracker however I think you get the point.

We bring Gana back, which reeks of that horrible sentimental culture here.

Onana who has shown flashes of being a good player

Two decent centre half signings

I’m not defending the manager, I understand why some want him gone but with selling your main man and replacing inadequately again particularly with money tight it’s just more issues to add to what’s come before.

There is always glaring issues here, time and again and this fella needs to take some responsibility. If the manager is getting stick then he should too .

Signs one of the most highly rated young defensive midfielders in Europe and Lampard plays him box to box

Signs McNeil who has a good cross on him - Lampard only has McNeil whipping balls into 5ft8 Maupay and not DCL

Signs Maupay who scores on average 8 goals a season under decent managers like Potterball - Lampard signs him and doesn't give him any supply.

We need more attacking options clearly but we could never manage it all in one summer window with our FFP situation and its clear the manager is not using the players correctly.

Vinagre signs and yet he persists with Mykolenko when we need more attacking emphasis from oot wide.

Because of how poor we are, the business in transfer windows needs to be flawless. Once again however we've brought players in who just aren't good enough.

Why buy McNeil and Maupay when both their fees could have been put towards a better player? We get rid of deadwood only to bring more in.

You could just pull names out of a hat and have a better transfer policy than ours.

Or just do the bleeding obvious and use the Richarlison money to buy Toney.

But no, we pay a group of david Brent's six figure sums to splash the cash on players that should be in the championship.

Stick your stats, predicted goals and uefa coaching badges where the sun don't shine.
