We could somehow go in to Saturday's game with even less forward players and it won't be down to injury. This strategy of giving everyone a 3 game head start might not work out as well as the board are thinking.

I’d venture the second best, that I can think of, Stevie P, wasn’t a player who’d skin 2/3 players with dazzling pace and dribbling. He was a clever player though, football brain and technically great, linked up with the movement of players around him - made others better. He worked in that 451 formation of Moyes and with the players around him. Not sure the same can be said for McNeil in this team though or if he’s what we needed, we’ll see.

Possibly thrid best. Baines is the best left sided player in our history imo
